I had a virus, it was just a normal virus I was a bit light headed and had a fever, nothing much, but I thought ok I'll go get some anti-biotics from the doctor, took one when I got home, I startd feeling all itchy and warm, then about an hour after taking it I just collapsed and woke up in hospital, I had a total allergic reaction to the anti-biotics and had to get a freaking blood tranfusion ;_;. they said if my mum hadn't phoned ambulance when she did I could have died ;_;. scary stuff like.

Getting sick is for the weak.

I got a flu and was barfing every 15 mins on the dot for 8 hours.  And then I'd barf in between if I saw something barfy

so i thought I'd relax by watching a 1960s pippi longstocking movie

damn kids fried bacon and eggs in the same skillet...

I got a severe case of meningitis when I was 5 or 6, and nearly survived. Apart from that, I have never been really ill.

Sophomore year at college, I developed a 105 degree fever.  I refused to walk to the medical center for 2 days until I finally decided to go.  They offered to drive me home in a cop car but I stuck it out.  I don't remember how I got home (blacked out but came to my senses in my bed).  I laid in bed for 4.5 days with a temp that didn't go under 103.5 (it was 105 for a day or two).  I never found out what I had, but it was the worst illness I've ever experienced.  I didn't eat normal food for 4 days, just jello pudding and water when I would wake up.  I slept 18hrs a day so that was cool I guess.

Sidebar: I had to do a presentation for my economic statistics class on the third day of my illness.  The teacher tells the class that they have to stay for all the presentations and I raise my hand and say "I've got a temperature of 105 so maybe you'll make an exception for me?"  She knew I was serious because I was shaking and had 2 hoodies on (it was 80 degrees outside).  She lets me do my presentation first so I spend 90 seconds on my portion (4 members, 10-15min presentation total) and then I just walk out while the presentation is still going on.  She gave me a 98 those were the good ol' days!

I've got gallstones, and, occasionally, after eating some pizza or a burger or something, I get a gall-bladder attack, and it usually feels like I'm dying.  The pain usually builds up over about 30 minutes, and so on the onset of the attack, while I am still able to drive, I go to the hospital and sit in the emergency room in case it so happens I need emergency surgery.  So far, I haven't.  The pain and inflammation goes away after getting pumped full of hospital-grade painkillers (fun stuff)  

Trying to find buyers for the gallstones to pay for the operation:  they are 1.4 and 1.6 centimeters in size, currently - that's like 6 carrots of pure Gallstone, people!

Current bid is 53 Million gc and 65 million gc respectively.  Bids close by January 1st 12:00 GMT, 2014, for, I figure, by then, the gallstones will be about 3+ centimeters each...

But I tell you what, I'll let them go for 200 mill gc, total today...
