leave PW out of it - players are there for the short rounds, the randomness (if thats a word  ) and the FUN. if other gals aren't having fun then its not PW's fault.

I think 1 and 1 should be fine. What makes a fam good is leaders. Honestly when you add more drafts you get more noob leaders. As the second tier of leaders get drafted. A good leader can keep a fam out of trouble and plan a great start that works for the fam.

I like playing with friends. But you can always chat with em on irc. OR ally em.

Leaving pw out is fine. As long as pw is active and doing well on thier own. Mw had a great set of 3 rounds well 3rd one going now.Love the idea of merger no prob if you leave pw alone.

Arch I agree 1 round test is good. It really does calm the nerves. What is somewhat surpising that so many are for it.

If you look back at the history of IC there was the great MW andro merger. A lot of people got upset on that one. players left some players really enjoyed it. The best way to do this would be to crash ic and then Set it up just like old times.

Ok in seriousness. If pw is working why ruin it. I understand its just a 1 round test, but why break something not broke. Also as being in mw I think its a pretty enjoyable round. And i am in 20th. out of 35 fams.

I like more fams and bigger maps 1 ally is great as it gives more teams of fams that have a chance.

Also i like it very much instead of just triple resources start us off with 2 e-ships or something. A monkey wrench. Maybe no market for 24 hours at sor. Why i think this is a good idea. Fams that get endurium off market is at a huge advantage right off the back. This will also force new strats,

New strats is good New strats is what will make ic fun again for some. My current fam Is going for it win or lose. We playing ic our way. This is what ic needs.

Like bara said, less fams, more members in a fam. That way we will have the experienced and new players concentrated into the fewer fams. Its better than having many fams but  many useless/inactive fams for the most part.

I'm a new player, so I'll tell you how a new and active player thinks:

For example, after getting out of virgo, I decided to get some training in PW. Once leaving PW, I would want to join either MW or Andro. Since I'm not a vip, I would have to random into any fam in either galaxy.

If I get random'd into a small and inactive fam, I'll just delete, since a small/inactive fam don't deserve my activeness. Then I tried again and got random'd into a a good fam (preferably top5, or any fam which I see has potential to play FTW), I would stay and give my all.

However if I'm always random'd into a small/inactive fam, I'll just keep deleting until I'm unable to do so. Once I cant delete anymore, I'll just go inactive and play another online game. I can't remember how many countless times I did that.

My point is, new players WANT to and MUST be given the chance to play with active and experienced players. Any new player who get random'd into a small/inactive fam would quickly lose interest in the game and leave.

As for the number of drafts/vip/random. A 1/1/1 would be nice. A better chance for me to play with great players

Lastly, leave Pw as it is. It where new players gets a higher chance of playing with good players due to the no draft system.

So two non-draft galaxies... Yes sounds like a smart idea... Certainly when 3/4 of all players play in mw/andro (which are draft galaxies) *sarcasm*

When you don't have drafts you won't be able to spread out the good players over all the fams equally. I think the current amount of vip/drafts (3/3) is pretty good. Alot of competition in an andro round atm.

I agree with Archangel. Merge all, or none. Merging MW and Andro aint enough players totally...not active ones anyways. Do one test round, if it fails, it fails, if its a success then we keep it, its not that hard, and even PW players can manage one longer test round.

Just leave PW open to everyone, including the ones playing regular galaxy, problem solved. 3 gals in which everyone can play: the normal one (mandroweda), pinwheel as the relaxing no draft gal, and sd as the special rounds gal + testing ground...

With such a low player base, I dont think it's a problem to just let everyone play in all three galaxies.

My two cents, I think I've only drafted or have been drafted twice. I've been playing Andro since round 8 and I always random everytime there is a shuffle. I've met some amazing people in that time, I've randomed into top tri's and randomed into crappy bottom familys. Heck, this time around I randomed into Arch Angels fam . It's always fun, but sometimes it's more fun in the lower fams because it's more of a challenge to stay alive. To say that you cannot have fun without your friends is total bullshit. I have a friend in the oppossing alliance and we are always making fun of each other and each other's family. To all you naysayers, give it a chance you might actually end up with a bunch of people that could become really good friends. Besides, it's only one round. Don't like it? leave playing a round for a little bit and do something else. Summer is coming so head to the beach and meet someone

There are barely around 1000 players, which is why they want to merge the galaxies. Making 2 galaxies with a total size of 2200 players is bloody ridiculous. And old style play has no drafts because drafting didn't exist in the old days.

I'm not whining, I'm bitching at how stupid you are. And if you had the intelligence to scroll up you would have seen my other post jackass. And as far as I've seen, you've caused a shit load of problems within the community with your careless stupidity and general ignorance on how IC plays. So learn the game before you start coming up with hairbrained ideas on how to change it.
