The red card in the wales v france game looks pretty unfair, but it is 100% justified... it was an illegal tackle and the punishment for it is a red card... the rules of the game are not changed just for the world cup

If their body goes further than horizontal, its a red card...drive him into the ground or not, the defining action is taking him past horizontal and the referee knew that the rule book says it is a red card offence

also they took one of thier best players off for an old has been.. Hook was cutting shit up and they replace him? lol

Was always going to be a New Zealand vs someone final. Could have been vs Australia had ireland not played so well. But was likely to be either England or France. England actually wasn't a bad side this WC. But 2 stupid penalties conceded to France and 2 weak tries also, plus some suicidal passing in the first half meant a near-impossible challenge in the 2nd half. Still...

France has a decent shout. NZ without Dan Carter are a lesser force but their backs carved France to pieces in the group game. But yet... France could (should) have scored a try early doors in that game. The game was won in 15-20minutes of brilliance by the ABs.
