Topic: Family bank

I knpw this has probably.been mentioned a few times already. But can we please have a community family.bank? Albeit not so community wise, but let only the leader and vice leaders the only ones that can actually pull from the bank. Im tired of having ti wait for the bank to log on after he has gone to sleep with ALL THE RESOURCES.

if there is a family community bank, that a vice leader and leader could pull from but everyone can send to, this game would be so much better.

Oh and everyone likes that player that deletes with the fam bank right? Lol. With this sytem, he cant and in turn doesnt ruin the round for a whole roster of players..

its a great idea. SHould of been done a while ago.

infra family wise this is a great idea and would help greatly with efficiency buuuuuuutttt, how would an opponent opp this? and you cant say add a new opp because that means there are trial, errors and figuring out which standard races get em. it also needs to show up on visions, and who would the opponent target to see it? as it would have to have some sort of magic defence.

Mods should realise some ideas in this forum are sugested several times, like cycles, and everybody likes them, but NOT a word from mods sad

we have to make the community bank something like an actual entity. so a family bank would need to also buy wizzies, also need to buy agents. if you wanted to destroy someones fam bank, you obviously need to jump your op count. it would be something like,

"Many agents and wizards are protecting this bank, are you sure you want to op it?"

it would show up on the family news and also show up on leader and vice leader recent reports.

I like this idea, our family had a few bankers quit and it really ruined us.

also make the wizards and agent cost upkeep. that way it will drain the family bank if you had too much of a defense for it. and if the family bank cant sustain the units protecting it, ops would be 25% more successful, and you would also lose your units due to you not paying them. thats a double WHAAMMY!

u allrdy pay upkeep for those....!
agree though if ur dont have the salery to pay for your troops, give a penalty on the ops 10% or something.
perhaps that 10% can be given back again after your fam declaired on the receiving party.

this to not stall the crappyer fams to much in defending the agressor.

the family bank could almost be like a player, in the way people can have ops done on them like, spy on target, so can the bank, and if the bank isn't well enough protected then ops like destroy cash and iron will reap benefits, also you'll need a way to hit oct/endu/food OR make a decay in their, otherwise people just send their to avoid decay.

this would work if it was attached to the treasury tag idea. a simple vision would show the total treasury and ops on that person would hit it aswell

i think this coupled with the econ/bank tag would be a huge improvement as it reduces dependancy on timing activity for jumps and it adds a new level of strategy that is fairly similar to the current system

I don't like the idea of a family bank because it only benefits one style of playing. Smaller families usually play in teams. How could this be tweaked to be play-style neutral?

Fam bank or Teams or Individuals

FamBank: Do whats been suggested in this forum.
Teams: Have the leader decide what teams they want to.
Individuals: leave it as it is.

Ps nobody will be forced to add stuff to the family fund, but when added it should show in the family news like any other intra fam aid


pls check the chances to use the actual DS fund as the family fund, so you dont have to create too many new code
