Topic: The Number limit of IC

As some of you might know, IC used to have (and still have) a number limit of 2^32 = 2,147 billion

Im wondering if this limit is still in place.

I tested it a bit in SD now, buying 2,2 bill food on market. I got 2,2 bill food, so no loss, but the HQ page said i had only bought 2,147.

So what is it PS?

as far as im aware that is the limit,  but market will work.  however if you send more then 2,147 billion food to a fam member, u will lose anything over that amount

Ye, but aid isnt allowed so now problem, i guess what im after is a 100% accurate answer to where this limitation will kick in, cause im handling rather large sums in SD

I'll take at look at the DB today. It does not surprise me that your news stops at 2**32. If the news stops at that then aid will definately get cut off there. The amount of GC you can dump into science is probably limited there.

If you put a bid on the market for more than 2^32 you will lose some.

You were able to buy more than 2^32 food because you used less than 2^32 gc to buy it. The storage for resources and cash in your top status bar has a much higher limit of 9223372036854775807. The storage in your recent reports has the same 2^32 limit. It won't report more than that.

Well PS, i can confirm that you are able to sell resources, forinstance 1,4 bill endu and gain 30 bill cash in one transaction tongue

The game seems to be handling it pretty well, decay can also go above 2^32

Heres another problem:

Even tho i have enough cash and endu to build more, the game tells me i can only build 1000000000 soliders

I havent actually tried to build, but the "max" thing right beside the box that tells you how many you can build says only 1000000000

Who would have thought the SS HC SD would bring the craziest EoR jumps of all time ? After round end, this will be known as the "round that crashed IC and had jumps which will never ever be repeated"
