Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Sounds pretty childish there yourself AA trying to defend a tag you did not earn which is obvious mod preferential treatment.  If it's shown in one aspect of the game and community than its sure going to be shown in the rest.  You have been here fighting to improve the game and fairness in the community yet when it comes to you, you are there to cry about why it shouldn't affect you.  Yep its the forum but if it happens there, its going to happen ingame.

how do you know that i didnt earn my tag? Do you know how many people i help in #mod? Loads! When there is a new player in my family or new to the game i help them out and answer any questions they might have. Unlike you Josh, i dont shun them and kill them off after 48 hours. I dont think you realize just how many people ive walked through getting yamas, using a mapgen, clarifying how rules work and etc.

Im the one player in this entire community who should be a mod, but im not. Im always giving new ideas, helping new players and discussing game changes with the mod team.  The fact that im one of the best Partaxians to ever play this game is beside the point. My other contributions to the game and to the community is whats important.

What you label as 'mod preferential treatment' is actually me being an ambassador of good will and knowledge to all who seek it. Mods and new players alike. So in a sense i am a wizard. A sage if you will.

That being said....i will give up my tag if thats what must be done to make everyone happy. Its just a forum tag after all. Im willing to do what everyone else sees as fair and right. Personally, i dont see a reason as to why i SHOULDNT have it. Kinda silly that everyone is focusing on my tag and screaming bloody murder about it. But whatever....ill give it up just to stop you bitches from pissing and moaning about something so trivial.

I think you flew off the handle a bit there (Unwizardly btw), I don't think anyone said it was unfair nor the only temper tantrum I see is the one I just quoted. Someone just asked why you out of, I have no clue how many custom tags there were, got to keep yours. Ya there is the Josh post, but you should know not to take anything he says seriously anyways =P

I think the point is, a lot of people have worked hard for their tags.

Yes, in between we stopped giving out tags, so it kidna got hard to get points.

But regardless, I was curious to see why he was the only one who got to keep his custom one.  As from my post, Primo, you can see that it was Skoe who won the contest, and we made sure that even that was temporary.

AA knows that I have nothing against him smile  We get along really well.  But as for his reasons in his post, well, there are many other people who help the community just like that.  I'm sure that's not the reason he has the tag.

It's not so much about you having the tag - you missed the point.  It's about transparency and me asking how you got it and why.

Primo said it was a mistake.
