its to easy for an attacker to kill a small player though. You'd just get hot heads killing small players and not using it for what you want - killing core intruderes.

Thats why you add a morale penalty to it and even consider upping the 35% rule to 40 or so for fam.  You'd be attacking small players in big families to eliminate coring but the morale penalty would limit your raping of those small people to a point where raiding is not an option and they can rebuild.
