Seeing my family getting killed. Players goes inactive, which leads to more people quit from IC.
The game itself encourages people to quit. So we have fewer and fewer players. More frustrated active players.
So I suggest we change this game a bit so solve this problem.
Players that get killed tend to return the next round. It's the players who get bored from doing well that don't.
It's usually losers that commits suicide in real life.
You need to seek help if you are relating the two.

I came back for a round, and was killed off after not being active for a 10 hour stint.
And I'm only half a newb. wtf.

They probably weren't active or doing anything then in the first place so who cares =p
To solve both problem, change it like this.
If u take a planet off someone, there is a chance that it will overthrow u and return to previous owner. The chance is up to 50%, depending on
how many weeks last owner owned during last game year.

regarding the noobs, we never shouldv closed the noob trial galaxy.
even though it might be less fun. people wil have to learn. do not let those people join the pro galaxys, or make sure their races r checked BEFORE they can join.

he calls himself a attacker. i had no clue either when i first joined this game manny manny years ago. but people tend to be selfish, they do not wanna help people grow. either they have to know what to do, or their [pooped on] and get removed. with a fwew exceptions.
make it standard that new people always play one of the standard races.
but... but.... virgo didnt teach shit about team work. it teaches new players to be SS and thats not what we want unless they plan to join sd. so maybe revamp virgo to support team play or simply deal with players being unexperienced for a few rounds.

why do we suppose the game is dieing? well we have a player pool, lets be generous and say we have a return rate of 99%... which probably isnt true, now we need some form of fighting this "decay" with interest. so we need new players, well we get new players by exposing the game to potential players and get them interested for so long. this part isnt being done, the few players we do get are family and freinds by word of mouth. there is no advertising for this game and most likely never will be. this game is meant to die really
if people wanted this game to work so badly they should start a cash pool, pay for advertising space, because we all know its not getting done otherwise

we don't need virgo, we need players to grow up and become tutors in the real galaxies.
for once don't try to get the best players possible in all your draft slots, but draft a new guy and teach him.
i have in the past, and it has been very rewarding, i must say.
its very frustrating if u wanna help someone who is inactive and not willing to communicate, those people i have seen way more often then one whos willing to learn.
if u draft a new guy, stil means u have a proper race, if the dude was active we couldv let him change his race into something usefull, but he didnt reply the first 48 hours. by mods rules we cant let him change annything.
so how does this help us?
all he does is fill a spot. nothing more nothing less.

I used to draft players out of virgo fams when I was a tutor
yes and by the speed their getting removed (read, they dont get removed at all, and if they do its done by marked inactive and killed off) u would espect the mods to do their jobs.
aslong they dont communicate on the forum on important matters, dont remove the cheaters, whats left of ic?
