this and because in my post i said you were the other person i suspected. i had the same logic as nolio / gwynn that we all came up with independantly i think. that was: SLS was new to mob role, and made the mistake of piggybacking on with your vote to try and get a townie lynched. once SLS was revealed as mob, you were cast in a suspicious light

Everything was a blur.

The man tried to open his eyes again but struggled. The top of his head throbbed and the whole right side of his body was in constant pain. One of his eyes felt like it had grown to the size of a tennis ball but he still attempted to prise them open a couple of centimetres.

Once the foggyness had cleared in his line of sight he saw that he was in a small room, no bigger than a wine cellar. The door was open to his right and the only light came from the fire crackling in the fireplace to his left. He mentally told his arms to move but he realised they were tied behind his back. His legs were tightly tied to the chair he was sitting on. Sat directly in front of him was a man dressed in chaps playing around with a revolver in his hand.

"Good morning Elro - nice of you to join me!" Texas Jack said with a wry smile on his face. Elrohir tried to say something but only a faint murmur came from his lips. "We're gonna play a game, you and I... and lady luck will determine the winner" he announced as he opened the barrel of the gun. He reached into his pocket and retrieved a single bullet. "One bullet - 5 chances to live - 1 chance to die. This is a game of Russian Roulette!"

Texas Jack carefully placed the bullet into an empty slot in his gun barrel. He clicked the barrel into place and span it once, twice and a third time for luck. Elro looked on glumly as he knew his fate would be up to god. A bead of sweat formed along the top of his forehead and made its way down his cheek.

"You ready?" Jack said standing up and aiming the gun for Elro's head.

He didn't wait for a response. He closed his finger onto the trigger and the gun made a hollow clicking sound. No bullet erupted from the end and Elrohir breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hahaha - well it seems that luck is indeed on your side!" the outlaw proclaimed. "Its a shame for you that I don't like losing" and he span the barrel of the gun around again and squeezed the trigger.

This time it worked - there was a sharp bang as the single bullet found its target.

Texas Jack smiled but then cursed at himself. Another townie down - but it wasn't who he was truly after - that would have to come another night.

Also when looking over all the votings that have gone down, Alch voted Torq early when SLS was deaded.

The hot sun had been beating down on him for hours and RisingDown was sweating profusely when he awoke. His skin felt like it was on fire, lips chapped and dried out and his throat parched.

Barely with enough energy to hold his head up, he looked at the Sheriff staring back at him.

"Wakey wakey Texas Jack!" Damon said with a look of satisfaction on his face. "After what you've tried to do to good ole Sweetwater, we figured hanging you would be too much of a treat. Instead, this is your new home!" He streteched out his arms and glanced at the empty desert around him. "Oh, I do hope you're not too uncomfortable tied to that tree there. If you are, well... you'd better get used to it."

The Sheriff chuckled to himself as he turned and jumped up onto his horse. "Sorry but I forgot to bring any food and water out with me too. I'm sure you'll be fine! The crows will be around in a few days to clear up what's left of you. See ya Jack!"

RisingDown sighed as he struggled against the tree holding him captive. He looked up as Damon kicked his boot into the side of his horse and started galloping into the distance.

As he squinted upwards towards the blinding sun, he could swear he could see something shoot quickly across the clear blue sky. From a distance, it looked like a tiny rock hurtling at a millions miles an hour. He figured it was his imagination playing tricks on him and closed his eyes before dropping his head.

A few moments later his eyes shot open again, as wide as a rabbit in headlights, when he heard the loudest explosion his ears had ever experienced before... somewhere in the direction of the town of Sweetwater, Texas.
