lots of players did like it, it just wasnt set up properly thats all. It needed Tweaking.

Make KoTh the next SD setup as Hardcore SS KoTH =p   The SS aspect slows down the pace a little so you don't have the hill taken in like 2 weeks like last time and the hardcore part eliminates the issues with the previous KoTH's where people were real close eachother and had to fight forever or "CeaseFire" Which was just the word for nap there since the said no naps lol.   If you can kill the family off, there is no need to have those ceasefires!
