how about some kind of response to ideas from mods/PS so people dont feel they have wasted their time.

Idea thread is checked by mods daily and discussed. Your voices do not fall on deaf ears, although some may be hard of hearing wink

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Then perhaps what he's asking for is some sort of acknowledgement that discussion has occurred.  Unless we go up and bug the mods or Ps personally, it's easy for someone to think their idea was ignored.  A little post, just acknowledging some discussion happened, would alleviate those concerns.

I know PS, but players also need to know you are discussing them too.   The last update was ages ago, and there have been some really good ideas lately.

IC needs to be overhauled, not just improved.

Improvements would have fixed the game 5 years ago.
Now they will be futile (at most, a convenience for continuing players).


Facebook integration, custom galaxies, custom game rules for certain (E.g. different units,
different build costs for example, different build times), a new layout, a forum that mimicks the
epicness of the pre-punbb IC forum, more moderators and, MOST importantly, a business owner
that actually wants to run IC like a business, and succeed.

Social networking integration...like with facebook could be a lifesaver.


e.g what if ic posted some good results/awards on facebook, so....others will see and just maybe..some competitiveness drives someone to make a better "score" in IC.

In rankings page, there could be awards for "Best Attack", "Greatest Killing Spree", "Biggest Farmer", "Wealthiest Merchant","Destroyer of the worlds"(for a player who blew up most planets) etc, etc,and those would get updated once someone gets a better result.

dont discuss the pros and cons of new ideas just implement them. and dont announce the changes so everyone is surprised when something doesn't work according to plan.  will bring some spontaneity to the relationship
