Right, for the sake of completeness and making sure everyone has the facts: here's why I did what I did:

If history tought me one thing, it's not to trust others too much in hardcore galaxies. For this reason I had an infil going on my fam members and earlier today I noticed a player decided to build 98 droids. Now, I found this rather odd, especially within the first 20 hours of a round... This got me somewhat worried and I decided to check with a mod about the current attacking possibilities. It was confirmed to me that attacking was, in fact, possible. I quickly added both facts up and came to the conclusion I'd pretty soon get screwed over. Now, as it happens, my SoR planning was shit, so I decided to use some of the resources I had left for transports. I figured you never know what they come in handy for, despite aid being disabled, planets can still be built up etc with constr science if you work together.
Due to having these transports I decided to hit first. Again, I wasn't gonna assume someone builds 98 droids for defensive purposes and doesn't mention anything about it, even when being asked in a subtle manner.

The only dilemma I was faced with were the 2 other family members. I could let them live and risk a)them actually being in on it so I'd still get screwed. b)them not being in on it, but then they would, despite my reasoning, not trust me anyway. And if I was in their spot, I'd kill me too, just to make sure. It's all about surviving in the end.
I decided not to take any chances and therefor I hit them as well.
It turns out that I was wrong for hitting them, but I was faced with a situation and did what I felt was in my best interest. I did apologise for this in the meantime to the other 2 and I'm trying to fix what was broken, however chances of succes will be slim at best.
In the end I still got screwed, probably to the joy of some, since I got marked rogue. The fact that it was needed for my survivial makes this a bit synical.

Anyway, I felt my version of the facts should be mentioned.

I knew that one would pop up, should've mentioned it.

a) most people explore in their HS at the start. DS will cause terrible losses that aren't worth it. Furthermore I had pointed out I was trying to get a nap with one of our closest enemy fams.
b) that's something you'd normally mention

98 Droids?? Must have been a different family member. I had only pre-built 75 droids because that is all the resources that i had left to build. Which were all pre-building 3 days before round had started. The reasoning behind doing this was that I have never played in a hard core galaxy before and I thought that with hardcore that everyone went crazy and would be trying to attack me from the start so I built the 75 droids for defense; notice I did not build any transports to use the droids. I have always been and will always be a banker or resourcer I do not know a thing about attacking so i built the droids for protection. Which did not help obviously since I had a complete lunatic in my family who did this in the first place and is now trying to justify his cause to save face knowing that everything he is saying is a lie. So with that said. Polder is just trying to save his ass now. So do not listen to his ramblings because he knew what he was doing; he is just worried that alot of people will attack him now and is trying to save what little he has. He did an infil seeing that i had built the droids yet he did not see the correct amount which was 75, and did not see that there were no trannies to deliver those droids so his intentions where to take out the whole family from the start.

I love playing this game, I officially hate SD and plan to not play ever again, but I love this game. But it is players like Polder that anger me so much. Not the way he did things by taking out my whole family and then roguing us that was lunatic, but the fact that he cannot fess up to what he did and comes in Uni telling lies about his actions. Everyone always complains in this game but can never fess up for when the things they do are completely intentional and they know it. GROW SOME BALLS POLDER.

Quite Where he had little trust in anyone, i always trust my family members until they prove to be distrustful.

It's unfortunate that rather then simply ask he decided to take action. If he had simply asked i could have told him RZ had made fleet with starting resources because he's an SD rookie. I had already msged RZ about the fleet and was comfortable with what he had done. No worries about him attacking us he just had no idea how to start properly.

Polder offered our planets back with the infra but it's the lost infra that was building that was the building and the lost day thats the biggest loss aside from me not really wanting to play now

4 mann fams has turned out t' be a joke, too many idiots killin' off thar other members t' get a income bonus, unfair.
