tbf i thought it was a great idea, 20 hours notice was more then enough for people.

Friday is a crap day to start the round anyway, besides SD is fixed and why prolong the start even more? Like people havent been waiting long enough for it to be fixed and re-opened as it is Josh.



First.  Who is to say that Friday is a crap day or not?  Maybe for you it is but others it may be a great day.

Second.  The issue isn't about the wait, the wait is already there due to other failures by the mods.  The issue is communication and decision making.  Make the decision then stick with it.  There are a lot of people who are not as active with the forums these days who probably won't see that announcement because they already may have seen the last one or have seen the hq message that STILL says Friday.  The mods are on different pages and completely unorganized =p

Just leaving the start time unknown till they knew for sure and giving a 24 hour notice of it opening is better than saying a specific day then moving it forward.  If its unknown, people will keep looking for the answer till it's given.  If one is given, then people are not looking to see if its been moved up because thats just stupid to think it would happen. 

I have no plans to play SD and thursdays are no worse than any other day so it isn't something to do with me personally, it's the principle of the whole thing.  It just further shows how bad our current batch of mods are.

I consider HQ more relevant then a "quote" from Lee and a post indicating that SD will start "tomorrow"

Change Announcements or HQ to suit what ppl are saying here hmm

Naps have no limit but in a hardcore galaxy are a waste unless you want to die later on.

You can build 0 Defense stations.

Round Starts Thursday now.  Was moved up from Friday

posting tomorrow in announcements does little for me Lee. Im in a TZ where the round starts "tomorrow" as it is. Im +10 GMT so 5PM GMT means a 2 or 3am the date after start for me.

Tho i know they are still quite keen to play. Heres hoping they have either pre-built or will log on in the next 4-5 ticks

There is.  It was a last minute decision to not manually start it today.  After a number of people obviously being confused by the failure to properly communicate the start date by the mods and others talking about it in #mod, Undeath gave in and realized that the mods screwed up in how they handled it!
