you set the irc server name as imperialconflict.com ? I've got windows 7 64bit ultimate and i've gotten no problems

I typed in /Join #YourChannelName but inserted the room i want  but when i get into the chatroom i dont have a @ symbol in front of my name so i cant register it  and i identifed myself also why isnt the @ symbol showin up

You either need to register your Channel or Identify your Nickname

Registered nick or not, when you join a channel that hasn't been registered already, you get the @ before your name... you only get the ability to register the channel if your nick is registered and you have identified...

When you join a channel that HAS been registered and you are not on the access list, you will not get the @... also, if you join an un-registered channel but someone is already in it, you wont get the @ either

Is fam chat not compatable with Mac's?  I tried to download some other programs and I still can't connect to www.imperialconflict.com port 6667.   Anyone have any ideas you can give me?
