Trans, If I spoke for fam I would be leader, but i'd still tell it like it is win or loose.  I didn't want to 'give' 100 planets, because I had a lot of shares 'away from our home system'.  We lost 200 planets without a fight and I said uncle.  From that point, it's up to you and if I put up a fight a minute later what does that mean?!  I speak for myself like a man on fire that wants to live free.

This was like answering an answer with a question.  I missed and overlooked your message, but when I read it I was a bit too busy to jump on figuring another way to say that I wanted to end it.  It meaning the back and forth attacks.

For the record, when I could fight back I fought for our lost planets in sector 1 and did not hunt for portals or lost planets in sector 4.  Your fams circumference was safeguarded and I worked on doing the same.  I gave safe distance and presented no threat to any immediate systems, plus went a step further and asked for an end to the hostilities.

I abide by the basic principles of The Art of War and have never cancelled a NAP and violated any agreement.  However, canceling on me given the current situation was a basic violation in my book.  759 warred 753.  759 are allied to 749.  749 cancelled an eNAP with 753, during the ePhase.  There were other factors involved, but the basic principle of a man's word is more than a written document called a NAP.  Preemptive strikes happen in RL, but they are justifiable on many levels and not just preventative maintenance.

you had a 48 hour NAP with 49. not a Permament NAP. there was nothing wrong with cancelling it. the fact that there was a core clause doesnt mean it can't be cancelled during the expophase, unless it had specifically said that on the nap, which i doubt considering that there are so many systems this round that the ephase isnt going to end

I never wanted to war, but it was clear (when I asked) we'd war and I accepted my fate.  We took a large hit and I did not retalliate or even retake.  All I wanted was an end.  Honor or lack of had nothing to do with the past or present situation.  It was just business and we (I) didn't take the origional deal and paid more for it.

tyr your fam was offered end of war and nap 20 hrs ago ask your leader why "war" dident end not my fam.... our attackers have moral back and can take more planets easy we just dont want to ruin your round.

the fact that its a war game doesnt mean you should be declaring war on every fam you fight.

to 54, every time you approach them about this war declaration they will tell you its just to save morale and that they arent really warring you just grabbing a few planets. well i encourage you to treat it like a real war. if they wanna declare war on you rather than just skirmish with you, then they should be expecting and receiving a full warlike retaliation.

why not arch? you save morale...which can be used for more attacks. if you can plan it right you should declare on as many fams as possible during the round! lol. it means more planets!

becos war declarations shouldnt be made lightly. they are there for actual wars.

and kagar knows this. notice that when he hit us, he could have benefitted greatly from a war declaration, but he didnt use one becos he knew that with a bigger fam it would entail a full-scale war, which obviously he didnt want. for which reason i urge any smaller fam he declares war on 'just to save morale' to take the war declaration as what it should be.
