Ok so You all must know what was up in SD, if not then i will tell you.

A Bug was found on the market, where you could buy negative amounts of resource and recieve the cash for it.
You would have sold say -50000 octa (-is a minus)
It would then return Cash in the value of 50k octa.

This is just a example on how it works.

This come to my attention by AA this morning, Who was Told about it by someone else (not sure of the source).

Now, I personally put alot of hard work into doing well and getting a good start, So did AA. And iam So F*kin Pis**d that the galaxy is still running, and i will tell you why.

When buying off the market becuase it is a Auto market you could call it, when you buy/sell on the market it Does NOT show up in recent reports/Infils.
This makes hit hard to detect, there is NO way a mod could proof cheats/bugs, as it wouldnt have been visable. And i know for dam sure ppl have been doing it for a while before AA Told the mods and they put a stop to it

Anyone who is anyone could have used this, and there was a few early growth spurts recentloy where i thought Urgh wtf man tongue

Also, 1 guy BLATENTLY Cheated, Got tons of gc off market funded his science and jumped a bunch of planets to like 100% or some shit, a few ticks after the infras done a few ppl in other fams started taking the planets in Question, whis is also BLATENTLY cheating/bug abuse

and its so pi**ed me off right now what a joke

And if the mods remove this post that is bs aswell becuase ppl need To know!

And A Reset should be made asap

What a joke, I've been putting the time in to get and stay in the top 5-10 and now chances are others are gonna make big gains out of this which doesnt give me a fair chance.

There has to be a reset!

Btw has this been fixed now or is it still bein abused?


Edit  :  Just went and tried to sell -10k food and got nothing so obv this is now fixed, unless they can single out everyone who took advantage then it must be reset

I jumped agents a while back when i found this stuff, i been nukig my suspected familys, couldnt get through on the main suspect to many agents tongue now im gone and i prob wont play again if its reset, not becuase i was doing shit becuase of quite the opposite. Same old shi*t different day.

wtf are mods for then? they are aparently completely worthless. there were flaws in the system and you goddam well know that if it was a mod or a mod freind that disliked this they would have stopped it the same tic. this is bullshit, people who spent time busting ass trying to do good and people can just cheat to get on top.

seriously this round should be closed and this should be restarted. what you are saying is that it is okay to cheat and it is preffered for you to even have a chance to win. i understand that you cannot figure out who cheated but still. round needs to restart

Yeah I believe we should restart it as well was unawar of the fact up untill now since i was really busy with work... I'll talk it over and see if Ps can change the market hope to get back to you soon...

Market fixed will now need to discuss options with other mods for next round and see what players want with the comming round hope to have it reset by tomorrow

Great implementation of a new change.  Hats off to you Ps!! You are doing great smile

Few bugs here and there, but that's all part of the process of change.  Tweak when necessary and don't lose heart.

@Players - don't get frustrated, rather you should be happy that new things are being implemented!

I dont think the frustration is aimed at Ps.

More at the players who decided to abuse this bug. As everyone knows SD takes a lot of time and effort to stay within contention. Its just annoying that a few dickheads who dont do as much, find a loophole and abuse it.

Meanwhile i had just saved enough explos/gc to FB to put me back into top 5 hmm Boo!! lol

For more in depth info on what all took place.

Mods were made aware of the bug approx 24-26 hours ago

PS was able to fix the bug

We then proceeded to try to find a way to salvage the round, this morning it became clear that the only options were a reset or a rollback.  Since we are unable to rollback any single galaxy (pw and mw would also have rolled back) we opted for a reset. 



It's unfortunate that people think they can abuse a bug and not get caught, does nothing but ruin the game for the rest of the community hmm

it was 24hrs ago when it all happened, i pointed it out to arsy in our fam chat. we were having a laugh about it, then realised he had 99% con bonus/resources bonus from a vision then decided to get him to talk to mods. sucks as i think it was going well and had a decent map spot
