I give credit to 42/60 for having a strong start.  Your econ has been planned very well and it seems most other families are suffering from activity and planning, or have fewer players who can give as much time to IC.  When you started raiding us i thought it was a good tactic, to stunt our growth.  Then you went on and on, then you declared war.  That was a suprising and maybe foolish move.  If your going to raid a family for planet gains you need to pick a family with a weaker attacking line up.  Anyways, your raids were fine, we were behind on portals and had had a few internal problems.  My family fight well, Its very easy to give in (very much like 60 last round) when your under such pressure.  Coming to my ally and requesting 31 planets from my family because your tactic to retain planets fail is quite frankly an insult.  i rejected that immediately.  Then my ally (who are less involved by 95%) honourably try to pay the full price.  Sorry but they dont have to do that or deserve to.  So i reject that too.  We have not just been retaking, we have been hitting portals and doing the maximum we can with our fleets, to last a bit longer in a very outnumbered battle.  I want a fair nap for 0 planets, thats all i ask for a family who has shown class and character.  So i talk to kollop last night who uses the phrases "we havent gained anything"  "give us another 48 hrs to gain more planets from you"  That firstly, is embarrasing for your alliance.  Secondly it shows how little control you have over your attackers who are hyped up on skittles and m&m's.   In certain instances you need to give credit to those who earn it.  Whoever said "orbit would request more" clearly doesnt know me.  If a family gives up without a fight, ill ask planets.  If a family fights back then i will not ask for planets.  I want to know what gives 42/60 the right to treat my alliance this way, and then wonder why i refuse your rediculous offer. 

A family of such legends and pre beta vets should behave themselves better. 

We will accept a NAP once you treat my very couragous family with the respect it is due.  If not, we will all fight until the last and sour your claims for victory. You have won this battle, but a battle won without honour means very little in this game and is forgotten very quickly

Anyone who thinks 42 has been carrying us this round is sorely mistaken.  I've pushed my fam hard on infra and it's paid off thus far with a nr2 ranking, we've not taken market aid except trading resources for cash (and vice versa) when we were heavy on one thing and needed another for jump purposes.  Our attackers fought jointly with our allies in the early raid attempt with 55 and we have fought with our allies in other instances - but they have never carried us along with them.  I've run a tight ship so far, although my inactivity over the past few days has dropped below a standard I set for myself this round, and I don't plan to stop pushing for the round win.  A round win that will be earned, not handed to us by our ally.

Why would they run their mouths?  We had a chance to end 57 early after 55's failed raid war and instead offered them a chance to survive so that we would have a fun EOR they already lost to us once though, or do they not remember paying us planets for a NAP?
