Believe it or not, most of what you watch on television is scripted.
What you may not know is that some shows which appear unscripted, like the BBC

NO! I don't want to hear it, i don't want to hear anything about it! I won't... i can't believe it! :'(
Top Gear is just about the worst thing on television, and is incredibly obviously scripted, even the 'witty' banter.
I saw one of their shows on youtube where they burn their camper down by "accident." It looked pretty scripted to me then and only makes more sense now
I thought that was a well-known fact ![]()
yes it's true every program on TV has a script (details of the script may vary :-))
the shows look like they are off the cuff improvised are also scripted, often very heavily (even funny people really can't spontaneously come up with funny stuff in those improv shows all the time). I also know an interviewee whose interview was scripted, in the sense that he gave his pretty well known interviewer interesting questions on the subject and a summary of what he'd answer. I think that's pretty representative what actually happens, it's not like journalists are very supersmart people that can come up with interesting questions about all kinds of topics they know little to nothing about...
AP) It's sure to fuel the simmering debate over just how real reality TV is.
"Survivor" creator Mark Burnett says he sometimes re-enacts scenes of contests on the hit show.
He tells "The New York Times" that none of the re-enactments affected the outcome of the contests or the show itself.
He says he used stand-ins to re-shoot a river swimming race in "Survivor Two: The Australian Outback."
He says stand-ins were filmed and then mixed in later with shots of the actual race. Burnett says he only used re-enactments when he was lacking camera angles of a given event.
He adds, "I absolutely couldn't care less - I'm making great television."
CBS says it has no problem with Burnett using stand-ins, saying it's only "window dressing."
Bet you're gonna try to convince us next that there is no Santa X(
omg don't start about santa!!
*puts fingers in ears*
Nanananana, I can't hear you!
What?! TG isn't "real"? OMG! Call the home office! Alert Scotland Yard!
TG is so obviously scripted that I fail to see how anyone can believe otherwise.
Also, the Tesla story is pretty old. That's been rumbling around for about a year to my knowledge at least. The most recent TG story surrounds their piece on the Nissan Leaf. Nissan have actually caught them red handed with their pants around their ankles.
whoa they screwed the japs?
they're probably consecrating the suicide assassins right now
Oh noes!
Seriously though, this is well known. And the Leaf bit is retarded from Nissan's side IMO, it seemed pretty obvious to me that it's a film about what would happen if your electric car happens to run out of juice, not that it can't make a trip to the coast.
Oh noes +1
who cares. its entertaining !
and those survivor shows suck.
Seriously, can't you ever write a short post? Or atleast write a summary for those of us who can't be bothered to read all that.
As we walked along the flatblock marina, I was calm on the outside but thinking all the time, so now it was to be TU the General, saying what we should do and what not to do, and Dim as his mindless, grinning bulldog. But, suddenly, I viddied that thinking was for the gloopy ones and that the oomny ones use like inspiration and what Bog sends, for now it was lovely music that came to my aid and I viddied at once what to do. There was a window open with the stereo on.
See that's what I mean. What the hell did you just say?
nonononono! *nananana* *cant hear you yell*
o right they don't show A Clockwork Orange in Britain

The words vidied and gloopy are a giveaway ![]()
Actually Tesla's vehicles ...had already been negatively reviewed by several well known sports car magazines...world wide.......before the particular episode aired on television.
