its nowhere near accurate, always ends up costing way more than matrix says it will in my experience

Cons bonus is skewed on it. The % you put into it actually takes that off the total costs, eg: You have 50% cons it will halve the prediction outcome.

To get around this you halve the cons bonus you have. Using the example above, you would put in 25%. This will calc the actual outcome to within a lot closer/exact to what you need.
