Topic: Semi-Official Notice

I am running for State Representative in Oregon in 2012. I have researched how to file, how much it costs, how to get a page in the voters pamphlet, how to manage a political finance account, and more.


Officially I cannot file until September so this is the unofficial side of things.


I expect to be able to raise some money via campaigning as I know a number of contacts now. It is time to ROCK AND ROLL!




steps needing completion:

Purchasing 12 websites
Getting costs on billboards, radio ads, and tv commerical space.
A good barbecue purchased
Bumper Sticker costs and purchases
Volunteer shirts and hats
The cost of printing campaign stuff on plastic cups
Purchasing 10 whiteboards and a lot of markers.
1 Bullhorn purchased
Printing my security book, and some small political book I will write before December.


Of personal means, I for sure will have a war chest of $10,000 from myself for the campaign, but it is my hopes to push this up into the several hundred thousand dollar range for the full campaign. I plan a four prong assault campaign on my direct opponent and I also plan to lay waste to Democrat ideals in general in a Democrat held county (Yes I am a masochist by this admission). I actually have great expectations however due to knowing the district. I can get people on board, I know people in business, government, those with bigger connections, those with money, and more. And that is where I start, but far from where I end. I have been working on my campaign speeches. And I think recently I have come up with the final straw to break liberals backs. I just need to shorten it to keep to the attention span of my audience.



Focuses will be jobs, businesses, streets, crime, public transportation, inflation, my opponents voting record, scams by our government, our run away costs, our unfunded pension nightmare (and how to resolve it), law enforcement, schools, and taxes.





If I get elected I might just be asking 2 people on this forum to serve as staffers even. I do plan to offer one for sure, the other... we will see...

Heres a refreshing idea....why dont you speak to your values and what you stand for? I plan to educate the citizenry. Something that is an anathema to Democrats. Thus the statement.


I have formally filed the Campaign Committee and my Finance records will be updated now as well.

I formally started the finances with a small but important $50 donation. Thus I keep myself accountable.


Next step, purchasing several websites. Got to keep the ball rolling.

However the finance reporting is suspended on the website until my application has been reviewed and accepted (mostly a typo or missing input check)

But I can proceed!

nope... I have an issue affecting as many as 20 million persons, with an angle no one has considered, on a program that in effect creates a criminal punishment without providing representation, or a fair chance at appeals.

Trust me, this will be on the radio, tv, everywhere, and it is my baby... I am going to be nuturing this one to fruitition soon enough.
