Mods do look at multi accounts and other forms of cheating.  They ban players more than normal players realise.

However, sometimes it not always obvious.  If you have proof or suspect cheating behaviour, then you take it up with a mod in #mod (IRC) and then they conduct investigations etc.

If you're right, and there's proof - they'll block asap.
If not, there could be other explanations for it.

is rubbish.  No mod condones cheating.

And infact, it's one of the reason why it was allowed that players can now play in both PW and MW.  So that overly active people can have fun playing multiple accounts, legally.

So PW is new old vip galax then or?

Coz i got vip and i couldnt join any thing else as the "VIP" stated.

That already happens in IC, some (other) people do it and I know there are ways..well 1 way for sure that mods can't even find out if they wanted too.

You never noticed ppl in your fam who are active but stay small or ppl who turn more active than usual when wars/grabs with other fams start happening?

So just keep on posting in Uni and reporting to mods, eventually they should be able to see which accounts logg off before or logg on right after that "fake" account was signed on.

Only with checking that they will be able to find em, but that takes multiple checks+time, which makes it more or less too tempting for some since some mods have RL and/or (other) jobs.

I know KT spends alot of her time checking for Multi's..

VIP gets you the ability to join any fam, taking up a draft spot, or the ability to draft a friend into your fam. It also gets you the ability to get system lists of any family in your galaxy and an unexplored system list. There used to be a VIP-only galaxy called Draco, it was hardcore and super-awesome. Most mods have lives and jobs, they do not get paid for being a mod... They do what they can, when they can... It is up to valuable community members, such as yourself, to help them find multies and other rule-breakers by reporting behavior that looks suspicious to you. Otherwise, you have to be patient and hope the mods find all the cheaters.

So this means i can make a account and play in PW aswell then? If so u should change the rules, about it, and having it to point out 1 account for each Galax, i would dearly wanna play in PW if i could, but the rules state me i cant.

So the following question is, legal or not legal to have multiple accounts!?

i am a bit confused here, i get it u can do it in another galaxy that i could do and like that aswell, i am a very active player with to much spare time so for me it should suits fine.

I'm not sure its allowed to have more than 1 account, no matter you use it in a different gal, they changed that rule lately? idk, but honestly, its stupid and insane unless you have no life at all.

1st, you want your player history in your "original" account, dont you?
2nd, you are able to use your original account to play 2 gals at a time (PW/MW, PW/SD, MW/SD), then why use another account? -> answer: to play 3 gals at a time and cheating in 1 of them (double playing), that's plain stupid and insane, use your time anyother way, this game aint so important.

I dont hide my history, you can check in my wiki I have 2 more accounts appart of this one, I opened both when I was new at the game and got banned and blocked several times for being 'nice' to people in forums, but never for cheating.  Now, I am using them?? NO.  I have no time and no intention to run more than 1 account (this one) otherwise I am idiot. Do they want to close those 2 accounts? go ahead, I aint using them at all, as I wrote above, I only used them long ago when I wasnt able to use my main account, and just to start a round in another gal so I can still play.

It would be nice to see people confessin how many accounts they have and what are they used for   are we gonna be sincere?  come on, its childish, everybody knows Serenity cheated in PW several times with multi accounts and thats the reason he's hated, not becasue he cheated, really, just because its childish.
