Guys, if you read the statement and contract on the bank loan, it asks you to state your income before taxes, not after. And many people could not afford the premium monthly payments because they didn't read the fine print. The bank didn't use your monetary gain that was earned after taxes, they used the monetary gain before taxes were taken out.
"Oh you earn $25,000 a year so your monthly fee+interest will be this capital per month...."
After taxes, your actual fixed net income is maybe $21k or $22k. But that's not how the bank corporate board of directors sees it. And that's not how the many millions of americans that took out loans saw it.
But that is what it says in the fine print. And many of those americans could make payments. Barely. But once they LOST their jobs...end of story, fall behind, and tah-dah, the bank forecloses on you, calls the local police and sheriff, and the law enforcement will give you to a certain hour of the day, to pack up as much as possible before they put the police tape up.
No, I don't see the show being that damn popular, and i'm a scifi buff. The only thing selling the show, is the hypocrit director/producers name.
Now, whose the famous director/producer who made the show, that made box office grossing movies again? That is what is selling the show. The producers name. And that's it. The show is just to damn depressing to watch, and 10pm is known as a killer of tv shows. It's why Battlestar Galactica went off the air in the 4th season on the SyFy channel. Bad time slot. And on a sunday? The only show that pulled that off was The X-Files. And everyone watched it just to scream at Scully, "You IDIOT, turn around, the UFO is directly above your head!"
=^o.o^= When I'm cute I can be cute. And when I'm mean, I can be very very mean. I'm a cat. Expect me to be fickle.
