Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Lynceus, you cant know that the Tau have artillery pieces. They are now used for the first time.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

my thunderhawks flew past your convoy, they've seen it with their own eyes.
And everyone expects the Tau of having them...

the order was: 'if you spot artillery, take it out'

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

ohw noes, my Thunderhawk :'(

now it's on, skywarp wink

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

I made a little overview of the battlefield through the eyes of a Heavyweapons Guardman on the wall of the city.

I know I made 2 posts in a row, but the last one is merely an overview.

I hope all troops are positioned as it was told by skywarp and arocalex ??

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Yep, and it looks like you lost another of your Thunderhawks. Serves you right for stealing mine tongue

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Can a Daemon go back to the warp at any time or create a warp opening?
I hope not, because then the Frigate could have jumped into it from the beginning sad

But is it possible the Daemon follows his own will?

And what do you think of the story so far, Biefstukfriet?

The deamon does not have a choice. If the vessel, be it a human body, machine or otherwise that the deamon inhabits gets destroyed, then the Deamon is banished back to the Warp. This is because the deamon no longer has a link to the Warp in the material realm.

I'm liking the story so far! big_smile

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Arocalex...

The Marines haven't reached the city yet, so there is no way a Marine could be hidden and sniping, it would have to have been a Guardsmen. Plus Marines don't surrender, esspecially when they're embarking on a crusade against the Tau...

Dief, you should join up! Also, I find it funny that a guy named 'Warhammer' isn't a part of this RP smile

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

I'll let that slide on the fact that all you guys look a like. That was my whole intention with the sniper, he could not really see that well in the dark. I should have made that clear in that post but I was gonna wait with it.

Lol, my name means "Steak Fries"  if I translate it literally.

And I suck at writing, I have no experience with it. tongue

-------------

SkyWarp beat me to it! But Space Marines do not surrender, beg or grovel. He would've tried strangling the Tau, or spitting it in the eye. (that actually will hurt a lot, since Space Marine spit is a corrosive acid, I kid you not.

Re: The New Tau: Sign up and OCC thread

Wouldn't it just be easier to edit it to 'sniper' or 'guardsmen'? Cause anybody reading the story is going to wonder how the Marines went from losing the race, to already being inside the city and from being tough soldiers, to a complete coward...

Plus there is a hell of a difference between a guy standing two meters tall, with massive armor and a BFG, and a normal human with some light combat gear and a sniper rifle... Not even a Xeno could mix that up tongue

Continuity problems, thats all I'm worried about.
