I recall seeing Mods agreeing that planet trades are part of the game. I think Arch outlined all or most of the ways they could be seen as illegal.

All i have to say is good luck to the mods for enforcing that. If they do there won't be many players left unblocked. I would say this is a change in policy because im positive i've seen them say it was legal before.

hmm... This would mean I cant ask for a specific system from a family for a NAP... I mean, I know enough players (encouraged most of them myself) who want like 7-8 specific planets to get a better spread or get shares with another fam etc for a NAP (or so we dont cancel NAP)... I can see why this is kindof underhanded but it really shouldnt be illegal. Especially if the alternative is to pay a LOT more planets... Hell, Ive gone to war more than enough times with certain fams just so we can get the shares with a different family (this means we take the planets by force, and say we wanna keep those planets in return for a NAP/PNAP but its essentially the same thing).

Hell, its made a load of MW rounds very interesting when two big napped fams get their shares...

I have a feeling this is going to spawn a whole new brand of whiners who claim every fam left right and center are cheating cause now its officially illegal .

well really dont matter if people do their yamas several times a day they will keep intruders out anyway as many can tell with my fam, but i agree whats all this IA crackdown about?

Yeah its stupid, so don't say that. Say this instead, "I'm going to attack those systems because I pwn you, and pls don't attack these systems because if you do you'll get pwned over and over again."

The trick is to disguise the message. If a mod still ban you for saying that, then something is really wrong.

This is what should be an IA:
Attacking the same family and coordinating these attacks with someone whos not an ally (Ill run figs, you get ground)
Market aiding a family to help them win a war when they are not allied.
Having one fam op portals and another fam take them.
Coordinating ops (getting PI's etc for unallied fams).

Trading planets should not be illegal cause its diplomatic/common goal etc. Just like 2 fams declaring war on a common enemy is not illegal as long as there is no co-ordination between the fams). Seing a banker getting opped cause he has low agent defence (infils/pop banker losing nw/Uni news etc) and joining in the fun is not illegal either.

To KNOWLIGLY pass a planet when knowing who is the target IS a IA.
To be asked for a TRADE for a specific AREA is NOT a IA.

well long as 49 dont get shares with 56 cause then we have no choice but to clear and thats no vulturing thats common sense so take from them in systems 56 isnt in plz and that includes our little circle of systems in sec 2 we control, ty
