He can't do that.  It violates the tradition of what Santa is supposed to do.  You would rip apart the space-time continuum by forcing Santa to conduct an action outside his jurisdictional authority.

Not going to revolutionize modern commercial aviation. It doesn't even have much advantages over conventional military transports. Consider this another flash in the pan. Or an "aerocruise ship".

But if you destroy the space-time continuum, you wouldn't get your plane because the past would be destroyed as well.  The plane wouldn't have been built in the first place.

Probably not, although I do see possibilities to relieve congested sea ports.

I wonder how much gas that thing eats up?  If they made it so that airship has great fuel economy, it could easily replace short-distance commercial travels.  It also allows the military to pretty much use any large, flat piece of land to deploy military equipment without the need for a hastily constructed runway.  I wonder if it is possible to use them for paradrops? yikes
