Topic: Spanish revolution

yes we have millions people in the streets claiming for a real democracy, or somthing like that

are your TV channels censoring this news?? I'm surprised nobody has still mentioned it here

I'm not saying this happening in Spain is important, but I am sure it will be extended to France and rest of Europe soon, yes the arabian revolt virus is climbing norht fast

I'd add a link but surely you can seach it in youtube, tomorrow saturday the joint has been declared ilegal because its an elections day vesper, and one of the things those millions are shouting is "Dont vote any of them!", so trouble and riots are highly expected for saturday and sunday.

Re: Spanish revolution

No shit?

US news is all about our President telling Israel to roll over and Israel telling him to choke on it

i thought you already had democracy

Re: Spanish revolution

Yes,the media is ignoring it.
The protestors are depicted as  lazy, ungrateful wretches.

The inmates are running the asylum

Re: Spanish revolution

"Yes,the media is ignoring it."
true

"The protestors are depicted as  lazy, ungrateful wretches."
Not in Belgium. In all media channels we see the protesters themselves complain about other people saying exactly that.

thats' expected, any government will try to hide this concentrations so it doesnt happen in there.

The working class is in favour of this movement, it started as a few, called by facebook and twitter but now they are mass
Not only in Madrid and Barcelona, the revolt is in any city of Spain, and I should be there with them, so I'm the lazy one, not them

The main protest is against the politic class in Spain, and the system itself, some people see the revolt as anarchists, but I highly doubt we have 10 milions anarchists. We have 5 millions unemployed in a total population of 40 millions and we all have the feelings no matter who we vote, its always the same, cause right now directors of big banks have more power than any governor.

Well I'm not very informed bcause I live like appart of the society, but I'm sure there are videos in youtube about it, unless internet is censoring it too

Re: Spanish revolution

Why not temporarily restore power to the monarchy? King Juan Carlos I can be trusted to hand over power again after a time sufficient to reorganize the state's political apparatus.

Re: Spanish revolution

hang the bankers upside down and shake them until all their pockets are empty, that would be enough to feed hundreds of families among the population.

Its the same problem you have there in the USA and its a shame we have to wait for spanish to start this revolution, wake up there, already a concentration done in NY and getting spread all over

Justinian, to eliminate monarchy is one of the things in the list, its a revolution, a never seen a revolution was good for monarchy hmm  (ask Luis XVI)

we have 2 political parties in Spain, one suposed conservative, other suposed socialists and helping the workin class, but that was suposed, now everybody knows its the same shit with different names.  They both work for their economic powers, and use people taxes to keep the riches rich and abuse the poor, thats nothing new, bankers rule this world, but that's gonna change!

I really think this is some serious stuff, because official media refuses to inform, some websites are being closed and they've started banning some internet freedom (not now really, that was being cut day by day with abusive laws about internet) like they did in Egypt and Tunez in the recent north african revolts.

Dont ask them for solutions, it is just a mass of people like you and I denouncing the general state of world economy/etics, they dont say politics are bad, they say politicians are.  One of the claims is for tomorrow, asking people to vote for small and unkown parties and NOT the 2 big ones that support the rule of bank.  PP and PSOE is the same shit, like you'll have in ur countries different parties that no matter who wins, bank wins, always, bank creates a crisis but they havent been punished, even more they obtained profits... there are many other claims to change this to a TRUE democracy.

well I could say much more, its just this revolution spirit is contagious tongue I hope it doesnt end up this sunday, the revolution is being backed in all europe and latinamerica, and starting now in the USA, but official media is not informing!! you'll have to follow it via internet (until its blocked).

edit: here you have a good explanation, this guy is 95 years old, he lived many revolutions in s.XX, I posted the link above

Re: Spanish revolution

Render,

The solution is not "real democracy." Nor is it exterminating the elite. Every time these things happened, it resulted in a disaster. A real solution is to realize the values of the rule of law, a balance of power and compromise. Moreover, deposing King Carlos I makes you look like a lunatic. He has done a lot of good things, is popular around the world, and in fact willingly reduced himself to a constitutional monarch.

what else can I say? I'm not the one to answer ur questions, u can answer ur questions urslef, only have to look around.

about the king Juan Carlos we are waiting for his msg about his opinion about this all, show us he's not manipulated like the others are. I'm not against him personally, he is kind person, but as a monarch is a waste of cash year after year destining millions and millions of the state funds to maintain the royal house and all their priviledges, just to have a 'cool' guy out there for relationship with other countries when official diplomacy fails, ..."deposing King Carlos I makes you look like a lunatic"  we are spanish, remember, we have no problem looking like lunatics tongue

Re: Spanish revolution

the monarchy is a francoist parasite?

the monarchy is needed to kick out the moors

well you had theelection, is that enough for everybody to go home, or will they hold out for a immediate general election?

Re: Spanish revolution

@justinian:
He had no choice. Believing his PR is really naive. Its far easier to do nothing and be a good king then to fear rebellion sooner or later. Add to that better relations with the rest of the west and it all fits together. He's a real moron incapable of even ruling a small factory.

They've had totalitarianism and it did them no good. They would have had Frances status by now if they wouldn't have been franconised.

Re: Spanish revolution

All the wealth of the Rich, seized today in the United States, would last but a few weeks if lucky. Assuming we could find buyers willing to take the risk of buying seized lands that is.

Spain would last two days if they seized their bankers monies.

Quit buying EXPENSIVE TOYS.

Those wind farms? They are a WASTE. You get more energy, for less cost, from Coal, Gas, Natural Gas and Hydropower.

Solar? You should have made tax cuts instead of building those. Tax cuts spur growth, growth creates the need for jobs...

Money for emancipation? You shoulda, coulda, shoulda, damn well would have been smart, to have made those able bodied people work for their costs...

Socialism may or may not fall in Spain. I doubt it. But I do suspect that national debt may be an issue for future Socialists and a poison they will never wish to touch again.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Re: Spanish revolution

Conservatives have won, but just regional and local elections, they're demanding the government to set general elections right now and not wait for next year. Right now Zapatero has a foot out of the govern.

All this people that voted PP dont realise its the same, with a slight difference, Zapatero was forced to be pleasant with Banks and cutdown social rights by following the orders of Merkel, in the other side, Rajoy the conservative will be pleased to work in favour of the bankers, nobody will have to force him.

About the people camping in Madrid and other cities, they are still there, doing assembly to write a complete 'wishlist' for the next government, or smthing like that. Null votes and votes in blank coulda made a representation considering their amount, but this people dont want to be another politic party, their intentions go further, and I am with them wink

I'll keep u tuned
