This is whats wrong.. The attitute towards the game.... ( sorry to quote you mate, but its a reminder for all)

First. Turn the game back 10 years.... Yes, there was more "honor" in agreements. Thats the issue. And less people knowingly setting up terms in Naps to be exploit as a setup later on... Back then the game was fresh, and new. Videogames was less brutal and so on. People where more kind in general

So, biggest problem for the vetts is  that they keep remembering those old days, and want it back.

Turn time back 5 years... and you will find proof. The same arguments about "honor" and dissapointments over new ways of playing the game IS THE SAME AS TODAY. People wanna quit, but in the end, they dont, cause they are addicted

So, the reality is.... When a game gets older, and more vetts has experience in the fams all over, the gaming will change by nature. And when new players join today, as to 8 - 9 years ago, the speed to get good with effort is short. All tacticks thats been tested can be found in forums and by asking vetts.

Evolution of game is the factor here.

Unfortantly, (as I also liked the more respectable way to play) the ones who still complain after about 5 years + with evolution, can consider themself in the same light as your grandparents trying to understand todays yuth and tecnology. Old farts in other words

But still I have hopes for the part in a CONFLICT game, called diplomasy can be a bigger part again in the future. As some has missunderstood, and calls it a wargame, its not. Conflicts involves so mutch more than just wars, and therefor we have for instance me writing this in a forum about it.
