Topic: Sorting out all of your market bids!

Imagine this scenario: One day you are playing the market... a few iron bids here, a few endu bids there, and all of a sudden, you end up with a list that looks a bit like this:

Buy xx iron at xx per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx octarine at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx octarine at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel
and the neverending list continues....

*Of course the xx's are (semi-realistic) numbers, but i am not gonna show you what my bids are like wink*

Now every sane person can see how this can become confusing. Buy and sell offers all mixed, prices mixed, etc. etc. The only thing this system has going for it is that it sorts by the recourse you are buying/selling. However, do we really want that? Do we need it? Wouldn't it be much better if we had more options to sort by?

Now if you are a real market player, you'll definetely enjoy this idea:

I propose several more options to sort the bids, which you should be able to use in combination.
These options include:
Sort by recourse (the default option that we have now)
Sort by Buy/Sell (sorts the bids by, hmm... buying and selling bids perhaps?)
Sort by price (sorts the bids by price, for example a scale of bids with higher prices to bids with lower prices, or vice versa)

...and perhaps:
Sort by age (how long the bid has been up on the market, bids that have been on the market for a longer time are ranked lower than newer bids)
Sort by activity (bids that have actually seen any action ranked above bids that haven't)
Although these options will probably be a lot like each other.

Furthermore I propose that different categories be split from each other by white lines  in between. That'd make the list a lot more pleasant and a lot easier to look at.

Now i mentioned that you should be able to combine these options. How would this work, you ask? Well for example, I'd choose to sort my list by recourse and buy/sell. When combined with the added white lines, the list i posted above would start looking like this:

Buy xx iron at xx per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Buy xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel

Sell xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx iron at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx octarine at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx octarine at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel
Sell xx endurium at xx gc per unit. Cancel

Doesn't that look a whole lot better? I think it does, and I hope you do too. So go support my idea now and you'll get a 50% discount on any bid I am holding.
[Mumble] The 50% discount only counts for young women around the age of 18 and family and alliance members, other people do not apply for this discount and will instead be charged an extra 50%. I control all the market bids, so suck on it big_smile [/Mumble]

Thank you for your time big_smile

Re: Sorting out all of your market bids!

yeah but that doesn't help you find specific bids at all
