School is too expensive. They're needed at home.
Only in Western schools do you find kids that drop out because they're lazy. In third world nations, an education is a prize possession and a hard sacrifice to make when you don't have enough to pay and/or you're needed at home.

What you still don't dare to answere to, is that you in the same condition in such a country wouldn't do much better. You would be uneducated, starving, unemployed. It has nothing to do with your inferior genes.

that's not actually a question, but i'll still answer it. what would be the same situation? a country that has recently been freed of colonial rule, with very few getting higher education and economy mostly concentrating on agriculture? is that close enough?

Immagine your genes, but living in niger, Dirkou, being your age, no education whatsoever. You survived despite the unhealthy condition of your body. You lack a lot of things you need in your daily food. Tough, weekly food would be a better description. Your education is as low as not knowing what your neighbouring countries are. You speak french but of the type no european understands. How TF would you manage not to die before 40, let go make something of your life?

so what you're saying is that i should imagine i was a different creature in different country and i had done nothing like i should earlier in my life? in addition, i should imagine not a single generation in my family had done nothing right? jeepers, mister. imagine if you were a dog that likes eating its own body parts. how the hell would you manage not to die before the end of the week?

Decimus let's go with a simpler hypothetical. Say your parents had everything they owned forceably taken from them by the government. They had no money and were only able to get work as labourers on a farm. Furthermore the work paid so low that they could just afford to feed themselves and keep a small home with 3 rooms; a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
Now they have you, and because of the added cost of feeding you they are forced to work harder to earn more money so they don't have to starve to feed you. You grow up and aren't allowed to even go to elementary school because the cost of school on top of the necessities is too expensive.
Growing up in that situation how much better are you going to be able to make your life than what your parents had, knowing that the only job you'll be qualified for will pay you just enough to survive.

Thats a load of bullocks. People, all over the world -- reguardless of race -- rise up above others when they are challenged. Some of the richest people in the world started out poor, and built their own chances.
FYI: This technology wont allow more kills explicitly. It WILL allow a more battle effective soldier, it will reduce casualty rates, and allow any such military using it to be more mobile (I.e. quicker response and moving times).
Also it looks good in the papers.

What i don't like is egotistical rich-boys and girls who live off daddy's money, and think they are royalty because of it.

but in some places you need an impossible amount of luck as well. There is no way to compare living on the street in niger to living on the street in US to name something. I would prefer the last option if I were in such a situation. Clean shoes if I had to, would go to evening school, and get a better job. Most of the people you talk about got a chance like that. Born in that regionin Africa I described however, your chances are 1 in a 1000. Even if you are smart and skillfull enough. Its just not the same as in the western world.
yep, pretty much. At least here we get some sort of education to give us basic tools. And even if you don't somehow go to elementary school and grow up on the streets, you are around ppl who got some sort of education who are likely to pass some things off to you.

East Asia got screwed and plundered as much as Africa did (maybe more actually) by the West. They still managed to eventually to get their act together.
That being said I think Africa has decent potential but ppl need to realise that aid isn't the solution as the aid they're giving is actually destroying the local industry. Start trading and actually investing in Africa with expectations of a return which is what alot of Chinese are currently doing and something may come out of it.
The difference is that asian countries already had united, while African tribes were very local and now have to feel connected to the entire country...
idd WFS. That and the difference in regime. China has long been isolated, and a lot of them had a decent basic education. There is little comparison whatsoever.
