Well... I hope there are more people with this idea...... I think it sucks your VIP still counts down even when you're not playing.

PW is being reset for a while now and I'm not playing but my VIP get's less..... That means I have to pay for premium services which I can't use.......


Isn't it an option to pause the VIP when you're not in a galaxy??????

While ago we all got free VIP for 10 days I believe..... because IC was ranked first on a webpage.... after that I decided it was usefull.....

Not a bad idea to give people an option to get 2 weeks VIP free when they activate their account. They can use it when they want so they can wait till they are little experienced or just waste it in their first attempt to play tongue

And just give all accounts that are on IC atm that have never used a VIP a free 10 or 14 days VIP to use so they can see the advantages of it.

Its not a bad idea, but i think most ppl sign up knowing that there is always a pause between gals. Also we have 3 gals up and running to make use of it now... Been a while since that has happened wink

Perhaps what he means, is if you play mainly PW... There was just a very LONG pause for PW... wink

Or when you go on vacation, or take a break from IC.... I bought a VIP for last round... used it there but the 60 days I have left are useless cause I don't play now..... Will get back to IC next winter and have to buy me a new VIP then.....

The argument to this is that technically you are not buying a vip, you are actually donating to the game and the game is thanking you with vip functions big_smile

The VIP lasts as long as the game is still around not sure if that is comforting or not tho tongue

You gave a donation to the game. With that donation you get some perks which included a VIP and map functions. It is not that you bought something, you gave a donation.

hmm so if i donate 50p does that mean i get a vip? or are u gonna tell me that my 50p donations are not worth a vip in which case vip is not given out for donations but are being sold for a set price?

It's more of donation level. anything under $10 is welcome but you won't get a VIP unless it's atleast the $10. If you donate $500 you get a crown.

Well if its a donation like stated, then we should see some progress anywhere on the site on how much the donation level is and to which or what goal that goes.

I know Ps doing an very good job in improving the game mechanics so no problems there

But last month there have been some server hick-ups / lag in this game as u all noticed, will there be any sort of upgrade to the server where this game is running on with the donation funds?

U can work with the Donation Fund / Donation tracker to get this game more attractive again, update the graphics, make a contest out of it like IC3 in the time lol but then on a serious matter.

imo people higher up the food chain have been putting this off, a real discussion with the makers if they want to improve / give some old glory back to this game as its a good decent text based game with a great community surrounding it [ well its a bit full of bitter vets but still there are new people joining once in a while and getting hooked.]

TLDR

* Ps doing a great Job
* Donation tracker on site
* Donation goals to improve game :: Server atm
* Talk with owners to improve game / expand
* Do a graphic  / Story Line contest with community to give a better look to game
* Go Show off the improved IC to the world of text based games

Final word to Stefan : Don't let this game die off
