Is 9.4 blood sugar level too high for someone who is not diabetic.Btw I am from the U.K. so the measurement might be different than from the US.I know this has nothing to do with I.C. but I was just curious. Thanks alot. ![]()

um I would call a health clinic right away to find that out rather than search online
It's 100% lethal if you don't lower it within 1 week.
Take my word for it.
Or if you won't, take Yell's advice and call a doctor. Or google it.
insuline? More excercise? Less sugary foods? probably best to do a combination.
no idea if that's too high though.
i dont think thats high, yeah insulin is for diabetics lol
but def less sugary foods even fruit can make it higher so gota watch whatcha eat ![]()
eat bitter/salty/sour stuff to counter the sugar
For the majority of healthy individuals, normal blood sugar levels are as follows:
The normal blood glucose level is about 4 mM (4 mmol/L or 72 mg/dL)
The body, when operating normally, restores the blood sugar level to a range of about 4.4 to 6.1 mmol/L (82 to 110 mg/dL).
Shortly after eating the blood glucose level may rise temporarily up to 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) or a bit more in non-diabetics.
I suggest you ask the person who measured your blood sugar level. Your doctor.
The probability of finding someone knowledgeable here nears 0.
wtf is wrong with asking some healthcare provider? do you want to have a doctor tell you after you wake up in the hospital?
i dunno if its too high
i dunno if its too low
I do know too high/too low can knock you on your ass
If 9.4 is in mM then the awesome google website I used claims it is much for a non-diabetic. That would at least tell me it is wise to contact your GP/
