sgt isnt really countering himself here. the point of doing this was to throw everyone off. while they were boosting infra and fleet, we were exploring. then when they began farming us, we wanted to make it expensive for them. dropping out and rejoining made it so. dont get me wrong, we tried. we knew that once war was declared on us, we would be torn apart. were we afraid? no. we knew exactly what we were doing though.

We came into the round wanting to have some fun and screw with people and we accomplished that.
  The only way for us to win was to go for the hill as soon as possible and try and hold it. It was worth a shot and we came close but we knew we were going to get raped and so did the whole galaxy, so why stay and let them talk all the planets for easy pickings when we could make eveyone explore and double the cost for them tongue

LOL!! 35 was just having some fun and goofin around. Im pretty sure they knew they had no real chance of winning. Kinda smart deleting like they did. Otherwise they were easy picking for hill planets. Its not fair to label 35 as stupid and fail.

To anyone deleting and rejoining:
come back as an attacker of some sort. Most familys have all the bankers they need. Some knob randomed into my family with a horrible banker race. Rejoin as something useful or prepare to be a hyperspace bypass! tongue

This will be my last post in regaurds to 35. We didthe best we could with what we had. Some say fail...your opinion the fact we came within 48 hours of our goal. Alas in order to avoid proving people wrong that we were just exploing for others we made a tactical delete.  I think the round will be more interesting this way. I havenothimg against you personally serenity we just have different viewpoints on things. Gl to all will see you again on the hill I am sure.
