Well...I think everyone has been mistaken on 35's true strat.....knowing they couldn't win....they must have been u to something different up on that hill....but they are all noobs..... what could they have been up to.  O.o

All the top fams are attacking 35 to block their almost successful attempt at the hill....35 being the smallest fam in pw due to all the "good" players deleting with fam bank early in the round...so a few random noobs decided to have fun even tho the "smart" option woulda been to be quietly farmed....god forbid their whole family had been full of active noobs rather than inactive multis they might have pulled it off....

Regaurdless to those who tried with meh....grats....we may not win...but we have had fun and gone a lot further than any of the "good" players would have thought possible....

Now let's just do as much damage as we can on the way out....I made my decision on where I stand early when I gave my only non hill planets to my fam...I can't retreat as I have no where to retreat to...by my own choice.

So to take a line from Colonel "chesty"  Puller of the Marine Corps....

When informed that his division was surrounded in korea by multiple chinese divisions, an Lt. Ran to him and said sir we have to retreat they badly outnumber us....to which he replied "retreat...hell...we just got here"  later when news they were surrounded by the same force he said " now we have em right where we want em...we can fire in any direction"

With that update I bid the forum adieu see you on the hill. smile

aww serenity don't be such a joy killer...

but to be realistic, this is exactly the situation last round with 18, i have to agree.
now for a new 19 to step up, almost take over hill and then fail like we did! big_smile

Actually if I recall there was morale on the hill last round....makes a difference...also they were a full fam with options...lol....what was 35's true options at the time we decided to make the hill our core. Also...as for being cheaper than explo....I doubt it...faster yes...but fun was what we were and are after and are doing it...we were only a few active players away from a win....were not planning on a protracted round....so why need MW like nw...lol

fair play to 35, if they hadn't done it now they would never have got fleets enough to TAKE the planets, so they're only logical shot was to try to explore early and catch others of guard whilst they infra whore behind their cores. gl to 35. if you win its a brilliant tactic.
