majorly what Blizzard says is right, the powder wont make you bleed, but the powder gases will because the components are dissolved, and what you get into ur nose is mainly acid within the water vapours.
It's the same happening to mineral water when you boil it, it's not recommended to boil mineral water because the temperature breaks all chemical bondings so what you have in the end is a mix of components that will join randomly when water is warm again, forming new molecules not always good for health.
Mineral water has HCO3, Na, SO4, C, Ca, K if you dissolve this at a certain boiling point you can even form potasic oxid K2O or sulfure acid H2SO4, and this is not ideal for ur body.
Idk the components of the powder, but maybe you are manipulating it too early after boiling and you should wait longer till its cooled enough and restful.
