serenity, thats just an option, and when I said allow ONLY pnaps I do refer to fam to fam naps, not alliances involved. It gives another level of strategy to the game the way you'll need your allies to clear napped fams in your sector, I thought about it to add alliance coordination, but yeah the idea works even with all naps disallowed (I mean thats not the main point in the idea, just an option).

cap max moral lose at 10% in hills
its just boring that you can take like 5 planets a day

placing 1 ds in the hills to secure a place in there sounds ok..
placing alot ds in there... hmm wonder how long the round last if my fam builds 4 ds now ![]()
since alot people find this open end rounds boring after some time...
maybe there should be 2 ways to win:
way 1: each hill planet gives 1 point each tick... if no fam owns all planets after xx rl-weeks then the fam with the most points win.
way 2: if a fam owns all planets in the hills it wins immidetly (like now)
Initially a few people and I assumed ICPG KOTH would be like way 1 which makes more sense it means who was at the top of the hill for the longest.
1) make it HC so you can kill of people or make naps possible (would like so see some cancellation wars)
2) this round has proven it's very stressfull and hard to control the hill.. how about Allies and make maybe 2 more koth systems.. alliances will win if they control hill.
3) HS's need to be further away
my idea is to eliminate all families who dont control at least 1 planet in hill systems after 2 weeks after the start of the rd.then each week continue to eliminate families who lose control of thier planets there until you have 2 families to fight the final battle.

1) No naps, whatsoever. Unless there is a way to make official naps that don't apply to hill systems. Even in this case limit naps to only 1, maybe 2 otherwise the whole galaxy would nap and just infra whore until they push for the hill and receive 0 possibility of consequences.
2) 2 people king of the hill? no
3) People who say this don't realize that there is a wrap around function on the map, or realize it and choose to ignore it because they're dumb. With the map the way it is, which is plenty large enough for the number of families involved (particularly when the goal is 6 certain systems, not most planets or nw like a normal round), you just put fams right on top of each other. Currently, each family had 2 families 4-5 standard ticks away. Move families farther away, and all of a sudden each family has 5 families close to them. It's like in mine sweeper when you uncover a 5 you sit and think......o shit i'm boned
There should be two ways of winning.
Either take the whole hill or have the most planets there at a preset ending date.
omg this round is so long ahhh this is horrible.
oh wait MW hasn't even ended yet
