09 vs 11 at war for 3 days or so, now we have a CF it seems
09 vs 17 at war for more than a week but not many action

Did a good job of preventing 19 from winning by infra whoring the best they could and then attacking 19's unprotected hill planets they'd just taken from 18, they managed to kick 19 out of the hill entirely. However, they were attacked by multiple fams at the same time (22, 14... morale's a bitch) and now the exact same is happening to them as what they did to 19 at this moment (except they have more DS's than 19 did). 14 is killing them slowly by ruining their infra so that their hill planets will be easy picks after their eco and therefore their military has died off. I can't wait to see Flashy farm them to bits (Flashy has proven his farming skills earlier this round)  after 14's done killing them off and has taken over most of the hill, which would've inevitably happened had the round been longer. They have however the small possibility now to outstall 14 by doing constant retakes which may let them end with the majority of the hill under their control. One a sidenote I am actually quite disappointed in their attackers, since I know Aleph can do real good and I've heard a lot of good things about Broker. They have not proven themselves against 19 however (easy picks, twice/3 times 19's NW) and are being crushed by 14.
I do not see them winning this round anymore but for the sake of having more than 1 real contender and the odd chance that a meteorite hits Parrot & co. (I blame TBO), I'll call this fam a:

The fam with the most potential at this moment, in my opinion. They've been keeping a low profile the last couple of weeks and Parrot fucking around in #pinwheel telling everyone how he was going for size win instead of hill win, in order to not be attacked by other fams after they were hit heavily by the suiciding poker players of 13 early in the round. They managed to survive, even though I did post something about them in uni, but no one seemed to notice or could be assed to stop them. I myself was too busy getting owned by 21 at the time so that wasn't any help either. Now however, they've moved on to kill off 21 with their supreme attacking and sheer luck and lazyness and bad decision making from 21's side and some other factors... to summarize: perfect timing.
These guys are gonna win PW KOTH 1 if they keep up the good work. Don't let TBO ruin shit and watch out for flying space rocks. But if nothing goes wrong and they just keep steamrolling 21 they will win and therefore this fam is a:

I haven't honestly heard anything about this fam except for how they haven't done shit all round. I've heard Tryme is in here which can't mean much good, as many people hold grudges toward him and would very happily ruin his round. They also seem to have TheJoker, last PW rounds biggest let down. Doesn't sound very promising.
They have however spent the whole round infra whoring and should therefore have quite a nice eco, which could help them if they launch a surprise raid on 14 and destroy their chances of winning KOTH. If not: well sorry guys but wtf have you been doing then.
EDIT: correction, i've just been told Tryme got kicked out of this fam. Still doesn't help them though. still a:

Another one of those fams that has basically done nothing all round but ended up with a decent NW and pcount. They have a decent line up but seem to lack some attackers. Parrot was planning on farming them though, as this shows:

However they didn't and were forced to go after 21 who would've won otherwise, so 11 got away without much damage. However they still lack attacking power and willpower and will therefore never win the round.

Flashy's fam. Their start wasn't good at all, plagued with inactivity and even a rogue as Flashy has emphasized a dozen of times. They have however, just like 14, made a great comeback and are now even aiding in the demise of 21. As 21's close neighbour they are able to perform quick and easy raids, which they have apperantly done. They've even had their little adventure into the Hill whilst 21 was killing 19 doing a bit of vulturing. However this round Flashy has proven to us that he can in fact be dishonorable, farming The Smurfs fam to nothingness if i remember correctly, so a bit of vulturing cannot be frowned upon, however why would it be frowned upon anyway in this competitive gal where the honor code should mean close to nothing (sadly, the No-Naps-Rule has meant close to nothing as well). Farming 21 could bring this fam lots of goods that were previously only in possesion of 21: a large amount of space to expand as all fams around them have failed.
However with 14 taking over the Hill this fam may see itself called too action before they can get their farming act going and find themselves in the situation where they'll have to make an effort to stop Parrot's victory. If Parrot is not fast enough and the round would've gone on longer they'd have had a chance to win this by doing what other fams have done before them: pwn the fam next to them (21) and infrawhore and then go full out onto the hill. Still if they do a sneaky attack now and grab a ton of 14's newer planets they  could come out of this with the majority of the hill, but this is highly unlikely.

Serenity has been gathering some good players around him the last couple days. He even stole Bullet from Lee's fam after completely ruining them. They have been doing decent all round with top notch infra but average attacking skills (Blackmailer did well against 17, but from what I've heard he can't keep his winning streak up and Serenity, well.... Serenity went full fleet into a DS first tick of their war against 17, tells you enough right? ). Their new additions might have improved their attacking power by a lot however, but they will not be able to show us our skills as the round is coming to an end. They do not have a foothold in the Hill but they do have an okay base of operations close to the hill, so they could launch a raid onto the hill in a last attempt to get the majority of the hill planets and win the round. I very much doubt they'll do this though. Their chances of winning KOTH are very much the same as 22's chances and both of them would have to rely on sheer luck.

Render proving once again he is the master of the comebacks. His fam has been rising in the rankings lately with the addition of a few good players. Been killing off small fams around them to gradually  grow in size. They have good attacking power and a lot of potential to grow, and a lot of fams in their way that they would've been able to farm in the future.
Too bad the round ends this sunday. However the main question is: will they be able to take te hill before the time runs out? No they won't. And therefore this fam is a:

I am not going to discuss most of the other fams, as I doubt they'll ever get close to winning this and most of them have accomplished nothing so far and will probably accomplish close to nothing for the remainder of the round. Honorable mentions go out to my own fam 19 and Portgas's fam 18 for coming close to winning, but inevitably being stopped by other fams (18 by 19, 19 by 21).
Furthermore I'd like to take this opportunity announce this round's losers as well: Lee's fam 17. They tried to kill 16, and even though Serenity went full fleet into a DS the FIRST tick of war they still failed horribly and got cleared from the hill by 19. I daresay this ruined their morale (especially them being owned by an attacker no one had heard of before this round) and caused mass inactivity after their plans of opping everyone failed as well. After all of the bullshit cf's, mod toleration and even official approval of cf's, and big talks of Lee, his stacked fam just couldn't live up to the test.
I foresee a fierce fight  for "Biggest fail" in this round's EOR votes! (or maybe not heheh.)

On a final note I'd like to say that a little bird has told me about the first patented RisingDown Perm CF having been offered/signed! Seems like someone has been paying attention to all of my sarcastic remarks about CF's and has actually done the things I stated for why CF's should not be tolerated/allowed.

good pvc, but you contradicted yourself about me. you called me dishonourable then mentioned about how its a competitive galaxy with no naps. i HAD to kill smurfs 07 to nothing, leaving a family unnapped with loads of shares and even a small chance to jump and hit me is nothing more than moronic. if i went for hill, and had to fight 4/5 fams off, last thing i would've needed would be guys with shares (other fams could also have gained shares from these) hitting me costing me more morale.

& as soon as the cf thing came in i undeclared and stopped attacks. not having a go, just showing you my side of this. needs must. in any usual galaxy i would've napped them. i have friends in the fam. aside from that i like this pvc
