omg omg omg omg!
lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
You did NOT just say that!
Oh no you didn't!
On the other hand tho, they are not #1 anymore, and even tho DDK took no damage, they were still witout alot of income and others had dmg on them.. They might be less screwed then they should have been, but they still sorta lost the chance for #1
lol @genesis ![]()
The outcome and consequences of going into vmode are irrelevant. Its the act of avoiding conflict by going into vmode that is cowardly and lame. When we had a war looming on 96 the other day, the entire family threatened to go into vmode to avoid conflict. WTF is that about? Some people actually think of vmode as a viable alternative to war. That line of thinking needs to end.
I think the choice of going into vmode should be taken out of the hands of the players. How many people have actually used it for what its intended for? These days the internet is everywhere and cell phones with internet are quite common. How neccesary is vmode really?
I think if you are truly going on vacation and not able to login you contact a mod. You gotta prove somehow that your actually gonna be gone for a while with no internet access. They activate vmode for you. This would curb the abuse somewhat. Cuz we all know its abused more than its used for its original intent and purpose.

We didn't threaten to, I just told Rizzy that it was an option we had if you guys were planning on coring us, which it looked like you were since both you and Llano were in our systems and out of our range. I was pushing for a NAP, so I pointed out 2 extreme options - vmode and suiciding - but it doesn't take a fool to see that neither of them were credible options.
@Bullet:
Fair enough. I apologize for calling you guys out like that, however, you have proven my point. It was on the table for you guys as an option. The fact that it was an option is evidence enough to support my arguement. It should NOT BE an option for any family to consider regardless of circumstance.
oh and btw...i didnt core you did I? In fact i didnt do anything. My nephew got sick and i ended up taking care of him all day unitl my brother got home from work. I missed most of the war
Oh well ![]()
03 have recovered well, good job. 92 lost Lee which isnt a suprise since he deletes 100% of the time. and seems he joined 04. Impire deleted from our fam a while back. Just kinda frustrating when these so called good players treat others in their families with such disrepect. I'd much rather have a newer line up, for example like 91. They have some underrated players like Galeonis who is good, and remo.
Though you are kinda mistaken on people in 91 being 'new' (2 mods, one pre-beta, 2 others with 10y experience etc), and remo being here (he's in 04), i agree that it IS a fun fam to be in
The core group has been together for a couple rounds now and has a ton of fun together, and we try to make it as welcoming for the others as we can. Honestly, though we dont do bad, we barely care if we end first or not, we're having a heap of fun and that's what playing games is all about, isnt it ? ![]()
orbit is used to chatting shit why dont u post facts instead of fiction u moron instead of acting like a baby act like the mod you suppose to be, il play my game u play urs
kthxbye
why do you say they lost Lee, i dont understand...
You mean luckily for them they got rid of Lee?
What happened to the 89 vs 91 war then...
yeye hate hate bla bla
i left becuase for me own reasons 92 and its members know why i left. they got a new guy they can make there bitch instead.
it was not fun in that fam, infact i dreaded loggin in daily.
idc what any of you say, i stay in fams im happy.

please stop AA before gen digs up that link he showed us last night that made us lol
Screw trying to prove to a mod you're going on vacation... That will just get abused by mods who are friendly with certain players or fams that have a mod in their fam.
The option should have to be planned in advance! Most ppl should know that they are going away a week before they do, so make it then that you need to set up vmode, to kick in a week later when you wont be around. That way you take that gamble, either go into v-mode and know you're safe, enjoy your holiday and come back to your empire as you left it. Or don't go into v-mode and hope everything is OK when you return and you're sitting on a huge amount of gc/ressies... Yeh?
