Topic: Republicans may have hope yet!

Romney is on the short list to be VP to McCain, and given his age and injuries, perhaps he will peacefully pass away in office giving us a true conservative!

Or maybe he will be so overpowered by Romney that he does only conservative actions!

OH LORD WE NEED THIS LIGHT!

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Let me get this straight: You hope that a man dies so you can have your favourite dish in the political menu? You sicken me!

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

Ok I've got to ask this question

8 years with a Republican president has yielded the following negatives
- Massive increase in debt
- Thousands dead in a war that never should have started (that's just US troops not counting civillian deaths)
- Legislation that allows the government to practically do whatever they want to whomever they want whenever they want
- And the complete and utter destruction of any positive image the US may have had on the world stage

and you want to go through this again because...?

I realize that there have been positives as well I just don't see how they can balance out.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

ditto. Though there are a couple republicans who I feel are more than capable of being fair presidents. But McCain is not one of them =p

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

republicans are best for the economy and we're going through a recession.... i doubt the working class really gives a damn whether a couple thousand people that volunteer to go into the Millitary die in some far off country, or if people in far off countries dont like the US, they want their job secured so they can provide for their family.

hey, at least drunkard bush didn't leave stains on an internee's skirt. that has to count for something! because sex between two willing adults is one of the most heinous things in this world.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

@einstein
I think mcCain wouldn't make much of a president and I prefer romney above mcCain as a president. He should have been nominee for the reps but there is nothing we can change about that now can we? But having him as a vice wouldn't change much. You either have obama, or mcCain.

With the bitch still running, it will be "Obama Clinton" or "McCain McCain" so both options are bad.

"hey, at least drunkard bush didn't leave stains on an internee's skirt. that has to count for something! because sex between two willing adults is one of the most heinous things in this world."

It was not the Republicans who said a guy begging for sex from female coworkers should be something you could sue over...but we learned our lesson: It depends on whether the horndog is an important liberal.

- Massive increase in debt

Completely reversed by Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress, NOT

- Thousands dead in a war that never should have started (that's just US troops not counting civillian deaths)

True, but Saddam refused to quit. So we had to fight.

- Legislation that allows the government to practically do whatever they want to whomever they want whenever they want

Yes, I don't think the WTO is very fair either.

- And the complete and utter destruction of any positive image the US may have had on the world stage

OK go away then.  Sell off our bonds, dump your dollars, start building your military for compatability wtih the T-80 and the MIG-29.

Go on, do it!  F U go away and do it!!  Clingy bitches, always trying to make up after YOU start a quarrel!

look the facts are simple,  4% of the woldpopulation owning 40% of the worlds capital. I think those figures speak for themselves. So I'm not even gone get started on the enviromental side...!

the yell srry mate but your vieuw is as manipulated and tained as the vieuw of 90% of the usa citizens. I mean look at for expample saddam, you know his regime was sick, I agree. But at least he had control, in some sick way his massmurdring kept peace, now its hell. Pulling back out of iraq means massmurdring. So tell me in what way is it better now, usa got more oil yup thats about the only thing.

And I love clinton for banging his secretary or whatever she was doing there. I mean he is a guy who can blaim him smile

Sir Prozac I want proof the United States got more oil.

I DEMAND PROOF

or I want a full retraction, and a sworn promise on your soul not to claim that unless you get proof.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

wow how much do you think we pay, you pay one dollar a liter we pay 1.4 euros so thats about 1.8-2 dollars a liter or 6 dollars a gallon. So with our stronger econ what do we get, the highest oil prices ever. And how does that come well recently american econ recovered and dollar is getting stronger again. Every day dollar makes up terrain it lost a few years back on the euro we need to pay more for our oil. Now how does that come if the oil comes from the east, why pay the west???

Uh when an American borrows from an American bank to buy American land and pays the interest from wages earned from an American employer I am not concerned that multiplying that scenario fifty million times results in a total sum of interest payments greater than the fair market value of Sudan. Not a social justice issue there, really.

"Legislation that allows the government to practically do whatever they want to whomever they want whenever they want"

perhaps you didnt know, but governments can do whatever they want to their citizens, rights dont exist, they are just pretty little things that governments like us to pretend we have because it empowers them. why do soldiers die for their country? to protect the "rights" of its citizens?  whenever our "rights" are no longer convenient for the government, they will be ignored, look at WWII, despite all the "rights" provided by our constitution, Japanese Americans were treated like swine, captured, and put in camps with no trial.  at least the republicans are nice enough to let us know what rights are being ignored.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

Whatever, so I can't borrow a library book on explosives and send money to dubai without maybe the FBI putting my name in a database. Whee

oh yes why not, how could i not think of that? ...get the party who put us in debt and a near recession back into office, since repubs are so great with money, right?

well if you think people don't care about 4000+ american innocent soldiers that died because of a war that did not make things better, they made them worse, and a war that should have never been issued, than you my friend are clueless

ask any one of the more than 4000 families this bullshit war has injured tremendously, and don't forget the innocent iraqis either, or oh since they're not americans, we don't give a damn right?

or anyone with any real sense

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

Yeah let's turn it over to the UN

Let them be sold as sex slaves to UN peacekeepers

Or have a UN court acquit Saddam

Yeah that's just what Iraq needs

The only way to make an American ashamed is to PROVE you could do it better faster or cheaper

Btw it came out in senate hearings this week there's about 800 million barrels of oil in various forms in US control that the govt won't permit us to process

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

4000 families is a pretty pathetic minority. it has no sway in a democratic government with 300mil people.

there are americans that give a damn, but the working class of america is more concerned with providing for their families in this shit economy then the death of 4,000 people or what the world thinks of them.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

Dont blame me for your super high taxes. I offered $4 as proof we are NOT getting oil.

You on the otherhand seem to think our lower price validates your emotion that we are stealing Iraqi oil.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

but why else would the oil prices be linked to the us dollar? Shouldn't I be looking at some dubai or saudi currency to see if my oil will get more expensive.

Re: Republicans may have hope yet!

I've noticed McCain has a slight shuffle going on. I wonder if he has Parkinson's.

And speaking of potential medical complications in politicians, a friend of mine who works at the Post Office said he saw a letter addressed to Senator Ted Kennedy at the hospital last week, specifically the department of neurology. Who wants to start the pool on a brain tumor? I guess he won't be taking anymore Sunday drives into the Potomac.
