about IAs and all that stuff, this is the 1st round of Koth, things to be tested for next rounds, mods stated that any NAP agreement of any kind (hidden under a cease fire, even) would be punished.  That's  a fail, why?? because naps are already disabled at relations, the way, if you agree to nap a fam then it becomes a matter of trust, you ahve no rights to whine about if it's broken or whatever cause NAPs are disabled.

When it comes to a cease-fire, there would be a war before, as example my family lost a war, we surrendered and paid planets comp and all we have now is an undefined-in-time cease fire. We take it as a pNAP by both leader because we "TRUST" in our words.  Is that an IA?? NOPE

When people cannot trust each other we have no reason to blame mods for this and for that.

Serenity says Lee and Portgas fams agreed to not attack and so it is IA ?? NO, it isnt, you cannot force people to attack each other continuously, they may have an agreement of cease fire but all within a "trust" agreement until one of the sides decides the cf must be broken.

So the only fail from mods is to announce "IAs will be punished" when we have no clear waht's an IA and what not, you want us to play this round as HC but without HC rules cause you cannot kill empires and still NW rules are applied.

So take note for next round, if NAPs are disabled in relations then its enforcing whatever you call IAs because its impossible to be fighting each other continuously. One family thats contender ftw cannot be continously at war vs a fam already beaten, because attackers must stay small and wasting a lot of morale, while other contenders not a war will take advantage of it.

It is not logical

i have had the ability to go to war with both my neighbours for ages, i have had no contact with either and made a choice not to. only now have i started.
