HC. you should be able to kill off families. my family raided a fam and raped them early on but its just become annoying and to be honest a little wierd to have them all just sitting there at 1 planet each 2 ticks from my HS...

i suggested this, but the cons are that they will kill everyone off, then go for KOTH systems, which isn't really the point i don't think, you are supposed to fight over them, not just explore them once you've killed everyone.

set space between families would probably help if they do it again so you don't have one fam 2 ticks for the other

dont still whine, the real fun of Koth is still to come, when real contenders be fighting for the hills.

Agreed its played HC but without HC rules, which is kinda strange, but I really think letting those small raped fams alive will add some spice in the end (underdogs ftw!)

A good adition imo would be to allow alliances, quartet alliances to be exact, and allow ONLY permanent naps (so people will think it twice before signing).

Also the map could be bigger yes, 4 sectors and a 1 hill in the middle of each sector would be nice (so 4 hills only to win the game).
Then 4 fams equidistantly placed in each sector, that makes a total of 16 fams x 15 players in each fam.

The alliances should work like this -> you cannot ally fams in your sector, your 3 allies must be placed in the other 3 sectors (1 ally in each). This would turn the competition in a 4vs4vs4vs4 all the way long, and the winner is a quarter alliance (not a single family) when the 4 hills are controled by people in a same alliance.

And the current map could be used for the next SD round (its perfect for SD yikes) so Ps work isnt wasted tongue

KOTH is fine as it is.


HC destroys the key part of KOTH, rounds would be over twice as fast. Just saving up, boom an attacker, clearing all systems at once, easy as that.

should b evenly spread HS's. having a fam 4 ticks from ur hs that u cant kill off or nap just doesn't work.
