There was a time you needed to be smart and accomplished to even consider the position of President.

I think the states needs to elect an accountant as the President.  Think about it how bad would it be to have a President who would operate solely by the numbers?  No personal ambition, no ulterior motive, just balancing of costs and revenues.  After 8 years with an accountant in office the states would have free top of the line health care, no one living under the poverty line, the best public education in the world, and no taxes.

No that's not who I meant.  Businessmen have ambitions, they have goals, accountants are broken shells of human beings who have accepted there lot in life and never dream of anything more.  Give one of these guys the Presidency and they'll never want anything else ever.
