I just want to know. I know its more efficient to Just build tons of RC's, But is their any good strats that Involve just paying money into your research?

mainly after bankers are netting 20+gc per cf funding became a viable option.

for attackers once u have a lot of gc to resource ratio before war its wise to fund a lot of excess gc into military.

cool, so only if your a top notch banker or for an attacker,  short bursts of GC research just before battles. I'll keep that in mind ^_^ thanks

yeah yeah defo. Thought of another question tho. if your a banker, is it better to just set your research to 100% economy or Is it a good idea to set a % on consturction aswell?

i used to believe con was the way to go as a banker but was shown economy was the better option during expo. once bankers are starting to jump infra you can set on construction and even use funding to boost the construction science up to prepare for 300/500/700% jumps

If im banking i usually like to research con a bit until i get portals up. sucks when you know your going to be getting attacked but have to wait 40 ticks for defense.

Better to go cons% around 40% then work on eco%.

When i played resourcer i put my cons% around 50% before a big jump, razed all RCs 1 tick before the jump (to keep cheap rooms for resources, reduce empire cost and make cons% bigger next tick) then funded hundred of millions in Resources%.

RCs are good at start and i prefer to fund after with big jumps if the bank allows it, instead of slow funding. It pays back faster.

RCs are AWESOMEly profitable if used right, and funding is key at some point

Funding is good when:
1. You are a pop banker
2. You are doing eco OR war jumps
3. Your eco science is allready good and you are using TOs

for a banker keep 100% construction until your infra has been jumped, then switch to 100% economy until both are equal, so you keep a good construction to jump the new buildings. A good timing to swap from construction to econ is when expo phase is over and the fam has set some days for infra jumps.

I was in a family once Where We left one guy On like 5000 NW, 3 Planets, Jam Packed With RC's, Until we went to war. And he had like 85% Con Bonus and we Sent him like 50Mil GC between us Along with Plenty Of ressies. And he made a total good fleet. Unfortunatly the peeps we were at war with were totally better than us and we got completely destroyed. but lol apart from that, thats the best RC strat I've ever used.  Never really came up with a good Banker RC strat.
But I like the Idea of Making A Fair Few RC's At the start Of the round and by the Middle/End just Deleting them all, to raise the Total %

Alundra thats what i did when i was in your fam lol i buy 500 RC on Home planet with a little funding then Conns bonuss went above 90% then we went to war with them 3 fams. I also done it in MW and now is at war too but the fam starting to delete sad pussies.

As banker its best to go 100% eco once your income has reached about 80k off pure cfs. From there keep it at 100% and about 20-30% of total bldgs rcs, until you've hit about 60-70% eco bonus. Than switch to 70/30 eco/con while funding 3 ticks into it a day. Once income hits about 750-800k switch to tos.
