here it is, my official retirement thread. after over 30 rounds in MW, Andro, PW, Tri, and SD....only one i didn't play in was virgo lol, the end of my playing IC has come.

my reason for stopping now is simply logistical, it has nothing to do with my views on the level of honor or skill in the game or my interactions with any specific players.

Simply put, I'm graduating from the University of Maryland, in USA, and joining the US Navy as an officer. As such, in a few weeks i'll be on a ship at sea and unable to access the internet to play IC. even after i return to the states, my time will revolve around the navy and my soon to be wife, leaving little time for IC. i couldn't stand to simply be a once a day login type of guy, so why not retire now i say.

I've done my best over the years to play honorably, both as a leader and player, doing my best each round to be a complete team player and the best attacker I can be. I'm glad I was able to win a round a few years ago with Genesis and Noir, but my favorite rounds would have to be the ones I spent in the Nytes of Jannissary families in Andro/MW in the rounds 8-14 era. The last few rounds have been very memorable and fun, getting to play with some great guys and finish in the top 5 a few times.

So i guess I should thank a few people for making each round enough fun to come back and play another.

Biohazard and the Giants--thanks for teaching me in my first few rounds how to lead and play the game

TNT, Vanikan, Stormblast-- taught me great tactics that helped me throughout the years in my attacking and leading roles

Thunderlen- I'm glad you landed in my fam you're first round, you were a great guy and are still missedth

All the guys in the fam when we finished first-Genesis, Arsbury, Noir, Paytime, Gratitude, Jaguar, Enterprise, ACL, Whitesands

The core guys in my recent rounds, been alot of fun playing with you all and talking on MSN--
thanks Nandro, Gondor, Coloradoo, Killamahire, Emi

DK and Kollop, you guys were the hardest workers I've ever had in a fam I've led, couldn't have finished top 10 in consecutive rounds without you both

Jannissary nytes-Deepwood, Psychics, Outlaws, Butcher, J--- you guys made finishing just in the top 20 something to be proud of and my rounds with you guys were the best times I had

Mystique, Luv-- I must have played almost 20 rounds with you, talked to you for so many more hours on MSN about stuff other than IC, thanks for being such a great person to talk to during my teenage years. you were the ultimate team player, honorable family member, and best wizzie opper I could have asked for and you'll always be a great friend.

for everyone else that i've played with, fought against, or just seen in the forums, sorry if i didn't mention you all, but every day in IC one of you made it worth logging in the next time.
