Topic: Bring back sticky's

My fam forum is a mess...
in the old days the important 5 threads got stickied and were always on top of page.

Now you have to ask one of the mods (if u can catch one lolz).

so bring them back!

what would that effect the rest of the forums? i agree sticky and being able to delete thread only in family forums would be a bunch of help

Wouldn't be that hard either I guess.....

1) Make another category in the admin panel.
2) Since empire name shows in family forum, the forums probably knows who 'the leader' is of the fam.
3) Give this leader the powers of the new category you made in step 1.

Well the thought isnt hard, I know in these forum software it's a bit harder. But since the family forums knows the empire names already..... or am I missing something relevant here?

Offcourse this has to be done by the developer.


EDIT: I guess the thoughest is to limit it to family forums only....

Pretty sure if you speak to a mod they'll sticky things for you anyway - they have in the past at any rate

You can't make a new user group to have forum editing properties, you can only base it off the default "players". But this is from my experience as a mod with only moderator access, the administrator(Stefan) might be able to do so, but if it was that easy he would have done it already.
