It has been proposed before, atleast 4 years. Even players that have left and come back and left again, no tagpoints for you.

I was known as KeyOrion when I first began many years ago, and earned tag points.  But then I recreated the account during a restart, and shortened it to Key, and lost those tag points before.

I've had this title now for...several years now.

And I remember every damn lie on how to earn tag points.  Everything from Roleplay, to helping others, to being a winner.

It all came down to how lazy or energetic a mod was, and how good, bad, friendly, enemy you were with each mod.

Sorry mods, but that's the truth.  I actually got my tag points from breaking into the top 100 player mark...once.

What about setting up a system based on the score accumulated by an empire for the round?

It would reward people for not deleting and the higher ranked the family the more points they would get (higher family rank = higher individual score accumulated by players in the family).

Does anyone know the maximum amount of score that can be accumulated by an empire in a round? You'd just have to come up with scale on based on how much score the empire has to how many tag points would be added.
