If I wanted to make a race or use a race not to attack or bank but use for Magic and operations and resources what would be the custom build or the race to use and do you think it would be handy in a family team? All they would do is use magic and do ops and give resources to family members.
jumping two hc attackers figs? why so they don't even have the amt to run the 1 big attacker and end up getting ran themselves? good thing about 1 fig/ground is you keep your military science high having half the units

partaxian would be the most popular for that choice.
if going custom u can go with 50 science 50 magic + your choice of ops speed and droids are optional in that case,

Its like a HC attacker but his construction research is used to jump agents/wizzies, so no option for many resource production here, since almost every infra will be RCs. You have to stay small as possible so your ops are efficient. Pax / Quantum would be the races to run it, but if you want to have absolutely all the ops then choice is custom, with max magic/research and maybe some attacking points (working as defense points actually).
Or what Rin says ![]()
small partaxes are stupid. your partax can be your #1 resourcer. only RCs, whos going to make the octo for him? its not about how many wiz you have, its how many you can jump. you can easily get away with researching resources and con. not like you need 90 con. for jumping some wiz.
as much as i dislike noir, lee that was retarded.
if the game is dead for you, it doesnt mean tis for us aswell
Lee has a small ego and a big pen is his problem.
Glue stop chatting bubbles darling, IC is dead, i dont need to tell you that for it to be true, just see how many active members we have, i give this game another year and no one will play it, except us. thats my point, and my point still stands that noir is an idiot.
Lee you dislike me cause weve been enemies alot of times, luckily for me tho, when you call me a retard people know youre only flaming... Im not sure i can say u have the same luck there...
haters gonna hate but i agree yeah., i started this thread so it could be a positive beacon in this game ![]()
Can't a forum mod just remove the off-topic drivel? Make it plain and simple and if you're not asking a question or posting an answer or saying thanks then don't bother to post because the fmod will just remove any superfluous comments
Noir i got a question... Is it better to research con or research eco as a banker early in the round?
I would say that eco is superior to con, for theese reasons;
Early on exploration is a large cost, and is not reduced by construction science, ergo its better to research eco
Income vs. Spending: As a banker most of the time your income will overshadow your spending, you are aiding out much f your income, and also many people will be using research builder strategies where bankers dont even build the buildings themselves, thus rendering con science nearly useless.
However be aware of reasons that might make con more desireable:
If you are using RCs, their production will not be affected by increased eco science, and your science is thus only increasing a part of your income, not your total production. Eco science is most efficient when your production in 100% cash
SUmmed up i believe that eco is better than con, but it depends on how you play:
Try to figure out if you will be spending more or less on contruction than you produce in the near future, and if you will spend more, get con, if you will produce mostly, get eco. By the same logic you would want to get construction research before big jumps, which should make sense to everyone
ah mmk. so eco it is unless you know you're gonna be building loads of infra, then up your con a bit.
But ofc, since science is a diminishing function, dont go into high percentages of eco before you start with con
mmk, thanks! ![]()
also another reason to research eco instead of con early on as a banker is because you will be taking a lot of infra planets from a research builder as well as building infra yourself.
Technically Rin answered this same question back before last round began with the same reply so...
*Found it

Re: Research strat
i used to believe con was the way to go as a banker but was shown economy was the better option during expo. once bankers are starting to jump infra you can set on construction and even use funding to boost the construction science up to prepare for 300/500/700% jumps
