with regards to Oil - the US does have a lot, but not enough to meet demand, and oil consumption is only going upwards!

Natural resources will grow short long before that. But even if they don't, they won't grow that fast. They are growing fast right now because of cheap labor. That will stop at a certain point. Because of huge internal tensions China is about the explode.

India's population is about to explode as well (I love that word, I'll say it again: explode,explode!) and that in turn will cause a multitude of internal problems.

About the oil: it doesn't matter if the demand increases even more if you're the only supplier you're God. Look to Russia, and EU weak response to recent conflicts with so called "allied countries".

i just can't believe the level to which people are mislead by the press these days... you do know that most of the political news sense WW2 has been mostly just propaganda, the only way to know the truth is to think with your own mind.
if you have a brain you can find out for yourself that what the governments say, and what is real doesn't add up, then from there you can start to read between the lines.

Oil comes from the reamins of microscopic plants and animals, (millions of years dead phytoplankton and zooplankton)
