The original stats were from Altruist i think (link: http://icstrategy.dreamhosters.com/stra … &id=16 )
The idea is that with the past stats you would win ground battle when you were loaing no more than 2,3% of your surviving (after air fight) attacking units. This way you can know pretty well after 1 attack how much is needed to send in the next one.
With the change of stats this has changed however, if i remember correctly the stats before the update was that soliders had 5/5 and droids had 5/7 (can anyone confirm this)
The examples he is using is droids vs droid, ergo its gonne be VERY different with the new units, because it depends very largely on wether you are facing droids or soliders, so any percentages before knowing what fleet you use will most likely be impossible to give.
And also note that his math was before the introduction of a functioning military science
droids used to be 6/7

but something i wanna know is what is better these days in war............
jumping a ground and fig guy like back in the days or go for 1 fat as junkie with all the fleet because last round we did jump 1 fig guy and 1 ground guy and some smaller ground fig guys and our war fam jumped 1 big attacker. (if that was not artic) they would have won with 1 big guy because he could take out both figs and ground guys and clear us so on that not 1 big dude would win.
so if you say 1 big guys vs fig ground big guy would always win (if you have skills

and when both fams jump figs ground vs fig grounds tja states for hiself first who loses figs loses.
so what is better

if they play equally well, 1 big guy will win, because its easier, requires no coordination, but remember, if you fiht as an alliance, you can have 1 fam go figs and 1 fam g ground, so more units ![]()

depends on if u are warring retards or not, if u are warring retards jumping 1 big guy will win, if u are warring anyone who actually knows how to win a war and not just win a fight then 1 big guy will lose. reasons been u will be too big to hit bankers.
any none retard fam will make sure to jump 1 ground guy and hide behind a DS launch system and raid all ur bankers within 48 hours while all you are doing is killing attacker portals which could take 5 days by then u have no income and the other fam will just rejump an attacker to rape u while u disband due to no upkeep. again if u are fighting retards just jump 1 big attacker.
really all you need is two fighter masses to break their air, then the bankers can even do retakes, portal busting, and ground pounding for you.
i think it best to jump your two HC attackers with air, and let the mid-range and resourcer/bankers do the rest... it's about high time that bankers make use of all that morale that gets wasted from non-use.
and yes this does take some attention to the family news to make sure that the fleet of the person is gone.
and yes it takes at least medium activity, so that they don't get a chance to rebuild before you clear them.
One ground, One figs. Run both, let bankers rape. You only need one share and you can keep on taking untill your morale hits -0%
