Having the Market especially in SD encourages certain players to make multi accounts and market aid themselves. I wouldn't want to  point fingers (noir/hydrop) but some people are known to like making multiple accounts.

Not having the market at least prevents them that aspect

not really becuase it would make IA's more Visable, you would see market aiding and match it up if a ivestigation was luanched by a mod after a tip off.
SD allways had market, why take it away now makes no sense. this and other things like this is why ppl left the game becuase it got so boring.

disable market first 7 days, gives the SS effect and removes cheating, but makes it alot easier for players for the main part of the round

Text based games have been replaced, a few multi's is not the primary reason behind the general decline of players over teh last 7ish years (if i'm right about when the population peaked)
