Topic: US Foreign relations exposed

As far as i have read articles, this is a mortal blow to US foreign relations for the next years. E. g. The documents call our minister for foreign affairs "incompetent" and a "fool". Our chancellor is called Angela "Teflon" Merkel.  Most african leaders are corrupted idiots and even close "allies" in the far east betray the US and get away with it. Israel is not hated by the arabian leaders, instead they work together against Iran but tell their people they hate ISrael and want to destroy it!
US diplomacy has lost its credit around the world. How shall our chancellor interact with the US president, when she knows that the US do not trust her in any way? This is just one tiny example.

maybe your foriegn minister is a boob, ask other countries

in USA calling a politician "Teflon" means nothing sticks to them ie they can't be undermined by scandal

I think Merkel had some clue the obama admin did not like or trust her since she kept getting nagged about not giving cover for Obama by using more helicopter money in germany so Obama could tell us that the whole world needed to do it.

Personally I have not thought US diplomacy works for some time, and never relied on it to make sense or help our interests in my lifetime.

Well, it's not his fault those stupid Liberals handed him a huge mess, Vietnam. His options were limited, and given those options he performed well. Overall, however, he maintained the balance of power, and had the balls to be ruthless to do it. Recent administrations have been cowardly, and they have only managed to disrupt the balance of power and fail to capitalize on opportunities.

Kissinger was like Bismarck, and Reagan was like Wilhelm II. Sorry to burst your bubble.

For the german politicians i think the reports all had been quiet accurate though.
Our foreign minister actually is a hothead and arrogant and a noob.

Should  Diplomats give incorrect assessments about foreign politicians to their government?

in my opinion it is rather soft and quite conformist and as a result oftentimes even boring material, eg. the diplomatic procurement lists are obviously repetive. i think noone from the elite will really be surprised or annoyed. they might give some show of indignifiedness in public, or test whatever extra priviliges and privacty they can meet out for theirselves to the cost of others. i don't think these things go together only coincedentually. t would be hard to say if they would test extra repression by a planned scheme, seems possible, or by mere opportunity, wich seems probable. another thing that follows is that it is time to be succesfull against some crude or imaginairy bomb plot, so look forward to your next incredulous angry arab.
